“The investment from Apollo is a significant milestone and likely at a record pre-money valuation for a Championship club,” he said, referring to a report by Bloomberg that Wrexham was valued at as much as £350m."

Really.....£350 million....what are we worth then?

I found these statements interesting :

“Apollo investment raises questions again as to why the Welsh government needed to provide £18m of non-repayable grant …

State aid disclosures, which appear to have been written by an officer of Wrexham county borough council, claimed there was “no incentive for the private sector to pursue the project” of redeveloping the stadium, and that developing to international standard would be “commercially unviable”.

International football going to Wrexham ?

Weren't we investigated regarding the stadium and the rent we were paying. Something to do with local government subsidy giving us an unfair advantage to other clubs in the league. We were cleared, but surely this would breach the rules.

We have a lease on the stadium and pay reasonable rent every year plus we are responsible for repairs and maintenance.

That was not the case when questions we asked, it was pre 2018 when we were in partnership with the Ospreys and council. The 300K a year 37 year lease was taken out in 2018 and changed the landscape and stopped any more possible questions being asked. Incidentally some do not realise that the council actually get a percentage of the stadium naming rights, another reason why the current owners are actually trying to buy the stadium fron the council.
