Leicester’s sole tactic seems to be to get the ball to Fatawu. Despite all their ex Premier League players he seems to be the only one with anything about him and I’m including Mavdidi in that.

I think this has been suggested if/when Kone goes to Afcon and Chair is not available. It’s a very sensible choice imo. Morgan to play alongside Varane.

Tonight’s game reminded me of a game we played 15 years ago against Derby. A last minute equalizer from Jamie Mackie to draw 2-2. The games were very different but it was the never say die, determination, belief and team spirit that struck me as being similar.

I’m beginning to be a bit concerned that we might start seeing some interest in Madsen from other clubs. At the moment he’s completely invaluable to the team.

Agree re Madsen. I love watching him. His passing is so quick and accurate, his dead ball delivery is by far the best at the club. In the first half he was taking up several good positions just outside the penalty area as we attacked down the flanks waiting for a cut back that never came. A lovely footballer.

Mbengue a deserved MOTM. Had Gray in his pocket all night. RND equally aggressive on the other flank. Something I think we’ve lacked for several seasons. Love to see a bit of nastiness in us.

I did think his pen count was fairly high but didn’t get the stats on it. Either way I don’t see him getting 6 or 7 non penalty goals this season (if you extrapolate the goals to games ratio for Westerloo across this Championship season) playing the slightly deeper role. He hasn’t scored at all from open play this year.

Morgan. I don’t think we’re gonna get relegated this season and we should maximize the potential and financial possibilities of playing Morgan. This is also a reason not to give Frey minutes unless you have to; there’s no or very little financial value in Frey.
