Didn’t somebody come up with a song for him to the Madness song?
‘Madsen, Madsen, they call him Madsen’?
I thought that was a pretty good idea.
With the freekick, Madsen made it clear that he wanted to take it and was obviously the better choice but Dumbele decided he wanted it and ended up looking a bit of a d1ck. Madsen was clearly hacked off about it for quite a while afterwards. I thought it was a very QPR moment to have two players fighting over a freekick that neither were very likely to score though.
I have to agree with Brian on this one I didn’t think he had a good game. The two crosses in the first half I thought punching the ball was the more difficult option. The first in particular looked like a simple catch to make to me. The corner in the second half, although it was a good save in the end, I can’t help feeling that if he was a better keeper he wouldn’t have to be making that save.
Having said that I agree with some of the other comments, he’s a good lad and does give us everything, despite being treated shabbily and he is pretty much all we have.
And we won and it was bloody great and we’re 6th in the bloody league. Yoouuu Rrrr’s! 🥳
It’s been an improved performance so far overall. To stand a chance of getting anything out of this match (win or draw) I think England will need to bat out the rest of today and most of, if not all of tomorrow. Seems unlikely but we live in hope.
I haven’t looked into it but I know that a lot of business rates have been discounted since the covid pandemic (which was covered by central government). Have they removed the discount and reduced the overall rate of tax at the same time?
Therefore some businesses will have to pay more next year than they did last year but it’s actually at a lower rate than pre covid levels. So in effect it’s a reduction if that makes sense 🤔
Like I say I don’t know if that’s the case and not making excuses for anyone.
‘The Dinkum’ in Polegate. Originally ‘The Polegate Inn’ it was used by Australian soldiers during WW1 who used to call it - The Fair Dinkum - meaning “true” or “genuine”. The name stuck and it’s now simply called ‘The Dinkum’ and is a pretty decent Harvey’s pub.
I said the same thing when he went off yesterday. I thought Kone played really well and I’ve no doubt he’ll score double figures this season. I thought it was a very brave substitution bringing on Kolli and Morgan that early but they both did fine.
