Nah. We've gone big before and, let's face it, that went about as well as a handjob off Freddie Krueger.
If we build steadily, we stand a better chance of creating a long term benefit, rather than attracting a shower of mercenary shysters who'll saddle us with an enormous wage bill that we have no chance of maintaining outside the Premiership. We can't keep repeating our mistakes. I prefer our current approach. |

Reflecting on last night - boy, when we get it right, we really get it right! The whole team, from back to front, just rolled up their sleeves and put in a shift. The players that were subbed weren't withdrawn for tactical reasons- they were fcking spent! How Kone and Burrell keep going like that just beggars belief!
When people ask 'why QPR?' I would refer, your Honour, to Exhibit A: a goal by a Mr K Morgan of W12.

Thinking about the Ashes, something I've always wanted to do would be to go on an England test tour. Take a couple months, do the whole thing, barely survive the alcoholism, that sort of thing.
By contrast, something everyone raves about but I couldn't give a monkey's about doing would be doing Route 66 or trying yoga. Fck that shit.

I know it's only day one but this match feels like it could go down to the wire! Props to Joffra and Sir Joe for the last few overs. That was epic! Seeing Starc get the treatment when he thought it was a done deal gave me a warm feeling. Might just be heartburn but I'll take it. |
