West Ham have announced the ticket prices: NO excuse not to get a ticket – our allocation will be tier 3 or 4. |

If Sinclair Armstrong was worth £2.5m, what's Burrell? £5m? £8m? |

A world cup where we'll have stadiums 1/3 full. |

Did yoga once – fell asleep doing the breathing at the start. The instructor (who I knew) let me sleep through the session, and I snored through it. Bucket - all the F1 Grand Prix in a year. Fck it - anything submarine-related. There's enough to look at above the waterline, let alone putting yourself in danger in the depths. |

I think they're considering the cricket ground, and that would take some big work to change its use. There are other green spaces in the north of the borough, but the further north you move away from Brisbane Road, the more Conservative it becomes, and they wouldn't have a football club in Chingford. Other green spaces include Douglas Eyre in Walthamstow and the area where Walthamstow FC plays. If Orient promised Walthamstow FC could play, they might have a chance, but that's backing onto the North Circular and limited public transport. The only other brownfield space consists of warehousing and light industrial areas near Lea Bridge Road; some of these facilities are quite new, but they have short leases, and I could see them being relocated. |

The difference at Spurs was they had space to build around the stadium – LO can't expand Brisbane Road because of Oliver Road on one side and housing on the other three sides. Indeed, just across from the ground was a sports centre which has been removed for more housing. The only greenfield site in Leyton is Leyton Cricket Ground, which has a listed pavilion and is restricted to public recreation. 51.56767944707993, -0.010508044060889085 There isn't much brownfield capacity except for the space off Church Road at the Lea Bridge Road end but believe that area was designated for housing. 51.566157912871134, -0.023784977905952125 There is some space in Walthamstow near Blackhorse Road which was acquired by the mayor a few years ago and might be open to development, but it's a small footprint and not in Leyton. 51.59052558644276, -0.03925975668763898 |

Let's look into this – it's simply an MoU between the club and the Council. It just says they'll help each other and work together if they find a site. They've agreed to things like a zero-carbon approach, etc., but these are just principles – they've not agreed to any funding, support, or anything apart from 'we'll help where we can'. The biggest problem is there isn't local land to develop. There's a site of an Asda whose lease expires in a couple of years, but they'll need to rebuild Leyton station and a ton of other infrastructure to make it work. |
