You have my deepest sympathy and understanding... and there for the grace of etc etc.... When they equalised I was ready to storm out... I was lucky that my nephew is seated between the exit and me... and he was not budging... and at 6'4" who was I to argue... The FK... persuaded me to give it a minute more.... I know this doesn't help you.... but I was nearly following you out |

I think the game has changed so much now... and especially the dynamics of corners and crosses. I'm 5'11" and was a pretty decent CB... played a decent standard... but in todays game I doubt I would be as effective. The players today are huge... the younger generation is huge in general .. most CB are well over 6' and powerful Arsenal over the last couple of years has taken the corner kicks to new levels, crowding the keeper... and basically every ball into the box is pre emptied by a wrestling match... it must be a nightmare for keepers to come and claim the ball Just watch MOTD to see top keepers that struggle with this. Nardi is 6' 1" and not powerfully built, which it pretty small for a keeper nowadays. I don't think he is ever going to be commanding in dead ball situations... buti think at this level he is a decent keeper If he was bigger and more commanding he wouldn't be with us. |

Think Jimmy is fast becoming legend status for this club... he was instrumental in turning our seasonaround last year going to full back.... and now back as CH and captain is a real leader... |

What a night at the old ground... ha ha that is twice we have done them in the last seconds of the game..... The place was absolutely rocking at the end... I have to admit when they equalised I nearly stormed out the ground... it was only I could get out of the row lol... and we got that free kick ..... and the rest is history A pretty scrappy first half... but what a 2nd half... though we had a lot of good performances tonight... Smyth was a constant menace... Saito had a decent game... Dunne and Cook solid... but both full backs were tremendous.... and Mbengue never gave Gray a sniff Won't argue the MOTM.... but for me it was Madsen... he was absolutely superb tonight... some of his passing and vision was head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch tonight... And what an ending for Morgan... spent nigh on his whole time on the pitch getting roasted by Gray... to then score the winner.... absolutely delighted for the boy... 6th eh.... luvley jubbly |

Going tonight but there is a bit of a pattern emerging... never went to Blackburn... won... went to Norwich... lost.... never went to Birmingham... won...... going tonight!!! So I'm very happy to take one for the team, and providing there is a monetary incentive I could stay away... so lads a go fund me page "never darken our doorstep again".... could persuade me 😁😁 So back to tonight... Will we be 'rockin' all over the world' ... with a win, and I hope Birmingham 'don't bring us down'..... and we 'don't walk away' with a defeat tonight...and we 'hold on tight' to the win.... Just when we think we have cracked it, the QPR way is to lose, so I hope they 'don't bring me down' tonight.... head telling me it will be a typical after the Lord mayor's show... and a 0-2 loss.... but hoping for a win... oh go on 2-0 to us Kone to leave on a high... and Madsen... I'm 'so serious' |

We all have to go sometime... and I would imagine where Norm went, was perhaps the best place possible for him to shuffle off of Rest in peace my man. Evidently the kind of man and supporter that was loved and respected |

Promise no bird puns but I hope we can get all our ducks in a row tomorrow and finch 3 points All I hope is that we tern round the form book and produce a starling performance... And I will be missing this one... Mrs MinT, 3 daughters and granddaughter in London to watch Les Mis and then onto the West End and see the lights... and a meal.... I'm sure I will be getting cold turkey (stop it) around 3 ish tomorrow.... Result... draw 1-1....or maybe even a 0-0.... be a tough swallow if we lose |

Hmmm.... 400 wicket, could be closer to 500.... just reading the stats in 21 overs of bowling there would be just 4 balls that would have hit the stumps... Can understand why we all support England... they are the cricketing version of QPR... you never know what you are going to get Again the Aussies have out Baz balled us... scoring at over 6 runs an over.... and done it playing proper cricket.... Hopefully twilight and perhaps a good spell from someone can get us back in this... but if Aussie bat until tomorrow we could be looking at an innings defeat here [Post edited 5 Dec 6:23]

Think that day ended pretty even... 325...9 wickets... perhaps slightly in the Aus favour Archer came out and done what a number 11 should do... throw the wood at it, but perhaps that is a bit underdoing the knock as he played some lovely shots. I think that is the best 10th wicket England partnership at the Gabba.... ever But oh dear there was some poor shots there Brooks, Crawley, Smith, and Jack's... and a melt down from Stokes But Root wash imperial... what a talent? I have been lucky enough to see some of the greats bat Tendulkar, Richards, Lara, Ponting etc ... but he must be the best English batter I have ever seen Hopefully get another6 overs in tomorrow for a little moral victory, and perhaps hit 350... to at least make a fist of it |

Supporting this team should come with a health warning...........supporting this team could mentally harm you From the heights of Hull..... and the tempo to this in just 7 days. Never even contemplated Blackburn ..but after that result braving the biblical weather here and greeted with this !!! First 20 mins was like foosball pinging it about and 1-1 was perhaps the right score.as both teams were going hell for leather Then 5 minutes of utter crapery has lost us this game..........What Sam was doing with that header is open to conjecture........and the OG is what it is.......... but the 3rd goal was the killer.........Unfortunately we won't come back from this Guess we can say JS should have made changes........but we have all complained about major changes and how bad it is........so he don't make them, and this is what happens OK we are bad.......but I still think we are on the sh!tty end of these 3 game weeks......and I though I'm not a conspiracist, I do think we are hard done by. Most like we will have to write this one off........and it is more the frustrating that it is fcuking Norwich again............never forgive them for 1976........... Let's not concede again and go again next week. Never been a advocate for an opponent team but their Mattson is ruling that mid field |
 | Forum Reply | Ronaldo now able to play at World Cup despite red card at 06:21 26 Nov 2025
Think we are all looking at this in the wrong angle Certainly not Infantino fault, he is just a lowly official trying to make the best of a bad situation And certainly not Rono's fault, it was an h-armless (pun intended) coming together in a contact sport It wasn't even Glenn Nyberg's fault... who did his level best to only issue a yellow... in the hope it would somehow show that Rono was not above the laws of the game It was that dastardly VAR that is to blame ...Boekel obviously never got the email about upsetting Infantino's legacy... I gather Boekel is officiating in the Albanian 7th tier now as reward for his bravery I'm praying to all the gods that either of the first 2 teams that draw Portugal lodge a protest about this and threaten legal action or b as note previously, other teams lodge appeals against suspend players |

Though always love it when we win I really thought we were a little fortunate Positives for me was the spirit. It was an atrocious day and we could have easily dropped our heads going behind twice, but we didn't and showed great spirit Chair definitely had his best game for us this season and wouldn't disagree re MOTM... though I thought Varane had a really good game as well The subs made a huge impact. Kolli was a real live wire, but I thought Morgan at RB was superb... made 3 or 4 really good challenges... and show good positioning very impressive Negatives I still would like us to.press more. We never seem to press as a unit. And against better teams we would be in real trouble Kone looks totally lost out there. He desperately needs a goal. But we won and that is all that matters really after our dismal run |
 | Forum Reply | What've we got to lose Scotty ? Hull match thread at 15:53 22 Nov 2025
If truth be told I think we are fortunate to be level at half time And that is not because of Hull's enterprise...........because they haven't had any...we are shocking They have so much time on the ball......there was a passage mid way through the half where they were pinging passes about and we are standing off them watching.........even at a GK they play it to the keeper and Burrell and Kone are still outside the area admiring it........... I really don't see any urgency in our play, there is no press and no commitment, and that is down to the management team........ I'm really starting to wonder about JS........... |

Well at least it will be back to shorts and t-shirt weather... nearly Apparently we only have 1 injured player... everyone is available for selection... what is JS going to do with such an abundance of riches? Think it will line up the same as SU...except RND starting for field So result... win.. though possible draw... might even be a defeat Oh sod it... 2-0 to us... Hamer from a long punt upfield... and Chair |

Can't disagree with that... but unbelievable for a 1st day. Stewards enquiry on the pitch ? |

19 wickets in less than a day... Boycs would be beside himself Could be a 2 and a bit day test... |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 06:14 21 Nov 2025
Don't need to be a good attack the dismiss this shower... 5 wickets in 4 overs!!! Test cricket my @rse... but hey we scored at over 5 an over so bazball is working FFS.. 1st day of a test, you win the tosd and decide to bat... so knuckle down get in and put pressure on an obvious weaken attack.... oh not us .... 5 wickets in 24 balls... |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 06:04 21 Nov 2025
All out for less than 200 before tea.. Starc a 7 for.... Brook again deciding to fcuk it up like he did in the last India test Know the old adage can't judge a wicket until both teams bat on it... but how the fcuk can we loose the ashes again in less than 2 sessions... Waste of getting up early |
