It has looked to me like Smyth can throw long as he does at some away grounds where he's got room to get a good run at it. At Loftus Road sometimes he has run along the side of the touchline then twist as he throws, or he starts crouching with his arse almost in the front row of the crowd, neither work for him so well. |

Agree RND was very good, closed down Roberts, BOS and their right side really well. Partly at fault for their goal though not picking up Roberts coming in behind him. [Post edited 10 Dec 12:51]

Benny maybe? He is scoring a few for the DS and Australia U20, plus he made some smart diagonal runs when he got minutes up front for the 1st team last season. [Post edited 8 Dec 10:41]

Yes Madsen my MOM too, though Burrell was very close. If he'd put us 3 up earlier as he should have done he would be. Pretty good performance from us today all round. |

I think they both track back. Madsen did successfully in the last Norwich game for instance when Field got injured, prevented a cross from the goal line, and I see him cover back a lot. |

Possibly Frey is showing more than Kolli in training, Stefan said Kolli tended to have a good week, then a not so good week. Frey always looks good in the training clips they put out for what ittle that's worth. |

Maybe Chair is taking the corner kicks/free kicks because with his size Madsen is more useful in the box receiving them or obstructing their Keeper as I've seen him do, than Chair is. |

I don't think Field managed to clear the ball. A Norwich player got to our goal line with the ball but Madsen had tracked his run and blocked his attempted cross. |

Hard to understand this. Furlong like Marti, looks like he's doing a very good job and he is well respected as well. His teams are apparently well coached with fluid formations Only a few months since we won the Premier League Cup and players from his teams have and are playing for the first team. What is the problem? |

I thought Chair was excellent Saturday, MoM and his best performance for a long time. Certainly, as long as I can remember (limited admittedly), and at least since the alleged brick throwing. |
