Good coach, seems on trend with what football requires in England. Recognises the need for pace and physicality as a way to compete, recognises the shift to a more direct playing style across English football. Clear has the man-management side of it to go with the years and years of training ground experience. Early positive signs.
Also lovely that you no longer ever read 'le shrug' on here anymore, that says a lot about how well he is being perceived now! |

Probably worth reviving this because things have taken another big turn for the worse at Morecambe. Longstanding club legends being frozen out, links from the new ownership group with terrorists in India and a rookie manager wildly out of his depth. And Emmerson Sutton and Elijah Dixon-Bonner!

They have named 2 additional replacements in that instance too which doesn't include him. One of whom is an Aston Villa striker. They also haven't named the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Emmanuel Latte-Lath and Simon Adingra, it's a competitive squad! |

I know someone close to the recruitment at Plymouth, he was on the verge of signing for them yeah right up until we stole in. He told me on that Saturday afternoon before we announced him that we'd nipped in and signed him, more money, bigger wages etc. Was expecting it to be announced in a few days time. I was going to have some fun on here for a couple of days dropping the odd hint as it may well be the only time I'd ever be ITK about something. But then we just announced him that night and my fun was over before it started!
As an aside, according to a PLymouth forum, Neil Warnock was telling their fans at some summer functionthat he had him at Boro (he did) and that he was s**t. Just goes to show. [Post edited 8 Dec 14:07]
