 | Forum Thread | Kiosk Staff South Africa Road - Lack of English Language Skills at 19:45 11 Dec 2025
Crikey in today's world, where everything is taken the wrong way and given a meaning, not intended. Its just last two visits, asked for a bounty bar and was not understood, but brought a packet of cheese and onion crisps after a two or three minute conversation, where no English words were understood. And then a request for a bottle of coke zero, again received with a blank expression. Just wondered why the club is employing staff in a customer facing role, that not only cant speak English, but dont even know the few words needed for the small amount of items that are on sale in the kiosks. Minimum wage is a decent rate recently, so really can't understand why for a few extra shillings, the club can't find staff that actually have even a limited grasp of spoken English. Question for CN / Beans ??? BTW, this is in no way racist related - if staff can't speak any English, they seriously can't do this job, that would be my understanding... [Post edited 11 Dec 19:46]

I think we should sign Ronnie Edwards, as am sure his value will soar with regular game time. Yes, we need a better keeper, but only if, we get rid of one or two others. Going back to Dieng for me seems unlikely. I think, even if we are paying a minimal amount for Raheem Sterling, it goes against our model, and even if it didn't, I personally would not wish us to promote Raheem above players who are improving and gaining great experiences. Full backs, if this was a summer window would happen, but hope we sign RND permanently in the summer. But can only realistically see one or two additions at most.... |

He started with us at the age of 19 and is definitely skilled with his commentary and also his interviews. A future John Motson in the making.... Probably in a few years, he will get work regularly with Sky, TNT, BBC et al, but as it is at the moment, am enjoying The Tyler/Sints show .... |

Had read Falco not been too well recently. Hope he keeps well. Wasn't the last minute in either but he scored an overhead volley to put us 4- 2 up against Chelsea and hit a fantastic run and shot from outside the area to put us 3 - 1 up against Liverpool. On both occasions, the other side of London was shaken, given the explosion of noise within the ground.... |

That report is absolutely one of your Sunday best Clive.. That added on time was stark raving bonkers and you totally captured the whole crazy scenes last night !!! From my position after the goal, one of the yellow cards seemed to be waved directly at the loft end. I thought the ref had booked the crowd !!! We definitely didn't overcelebrate though. Am still in the clouds now.... [Post edited 10 Dec 23:47]

Did we not know back then, that smoking and drinking would affect performances. I know it was done, but I think everyone knew it could have influenced quality. It was just more accepted as part of all types of working lives. All workplaces went down the pub on a Friday. We did sod all work when we came back after "lunch". Sackable offence in many work environments now. |

Hey when I did a thread not so long ago, saying idiots that leave before full time, when many left with 25 minutes to go when Southampton went four one up, I got so much abuse from so many on here and not to call fellow fans idiots but suddenly its OK to do so now...... I had thought about not commenting on here again, as the abuse my way was pretty strong, putting it mildly. But when people get called idiots when they missed something brilliant , there is nothing but sympathy. The changeable moody mare syndrome of a Queens Park Rangers fans forum !!!!! |

Feel sorry for Dave Thomas "Kick up the R's latest issue" Leaves early every game. Dedication to his trade. He is certainly no idiot, though. [Post edited 10 Dec 8:08]

Was disappointed yesterday as I thought for next four or five games, Kone would be absent. Great news he will be here. Done well last two games. Shame he could not put the chance he had in the second half, just needs one to go in again, I feel and could start kicking again. |
 | Forum Thread | Julien Stephan - He is doing quite well !!!! at 07:41 10 Dec 2025
Its not really been said on here much as yet. But Stephan seems to be getting a lot out of many different players and the whole squad seem more together and all are playing their part. With Marti Cifuentes coming to HQ with his team of supposedly greater quality and depth, it will be interesting to see how that game pans out. Marti was more bristle, whereas it seems Stephan is more laid back and encouraging as a man manager, and when we have not performed, he does highlight this and is keen for players to react. The goal conceded yesterday and we immediately went on the offensive and we believed we could still turn it round. I think you can see a lot of players are now enjoying playing for us and they all are motivated and want to do well and know their roles too. The forum earlier this season, when Christian Nourry was waffling big time, I liked Stephan's response. "He is the boss." To me, it did seem like a tongue in cheek comment, in that he seems to know how to deal with different characters and not just those on the pitch. And a bit of light heartedness can go a long way in football. I think it's time, we gave the manager some kudos. Magnifique, Monsieur !!! C'est tres bien..... [Post edited 10 Dec 7:48]

 | Forum Reply | Are you Madsen? at 07:30 10 Dec 2025
Glad you are not our set piece maestro then, Dorse.. Madsen should be the main man, when it comes to taking corners and free kicks. Chair takes nearly all corners when he is on the pitch and he really shouldn't. Madsen is that man. But, what a change. Top man Nico !! Perhaps also having players up top to feed, as opposed to Zan the Man, helps too. Brave to do the interview at the start of the season, saying how down, he was last season, but has shown sometimes with some players, and deployed slightly differently, confidence breeds confidence.. A more laid back man manager in Stephan, as opposed to the more demanding type in Cifuentes, I believe has helped too. Well done sir. |

Fantastic run and cross for Dunne. Actually won a header across goal and Smyth should have scored. And surprisingly strong for a little guy... |
 | Forum Reply | ELO theres a big blue nose approaching-birmingham match thread at 23:18 9 Dec 2025
It was disappointing to see the goal conceded but strangely i wasnt that down and in recent seasons we could have completely capitulated and conceded another, but this team and this squad have something about them - belief and effort. Kone had an opportunity and then what a hit Kieran !!! That was incredible..... The whole Rangers support collectively lost the plot.... And nice to wave good bye to more brummies leaving loftus road with their tails well and truly down !!!!! UNLUCKY !!!!@!@ |
 | Forum Reply | Barton watch - 6 month suspended sentence at 19:12 9 Dec 2025
I would have sent him down for ten years for the heinous offence in that i think he is a total tw*t !!! But currently that is not illegal as yet. But yes should really be a civil matter. Others have said he was sued for his comments and thats as far as it should have gone. These days insults seem to be deemed illegal. Often not pleasant but really i do think cases of child grooming, human trafficking, illegal crossings, simple burgalries and scammers who carry on without charge, all of these are far more important as offences to be charged and for the legal system ti focus on.
