I’ve got every home programme since 1955. I still look at the ones from the 50s to the 90s but beyond that they are just taking up space and need to shifted. Very few programmes are worth getting these days for the price they are. I bought one at West Ham, bleeding ginormous 130 page bastard with absolute f uck all in it. Chucked t in the recycling today. Sadly, they are losing their relevance and I’m not sure how many of the younger generation bother with them. |

Massive, humongous, more than a handful, bursting out at the seams, ginormous, titanic books. Just bought a 1,000 page book about The Byrds by Johnny Rogan. It’s a wrist strainer. I’ll get stuck into it and give it a bit of a wobble. Next stop the mighty mounds of The Bible. |

After the pain in the arse shenanigans of West bum bag Inited away, always remember. This life is made better by human interaction. Human creativity. Human reaction and the human touch. Nothing can f ucking replace it. It’s false and inhuman. F uck mobile phones, digital, AI, VR, VAR. Read books, play records, go to pubs. Sex is great. [Post edited 15 Jan 22:42]

Technology will make life easier. That was the sales line, yeah. Somehow, buying a ticket to a football match seemed an awful lot easier in times gone by. You youngsters are f ucked. |

Bollocks to this digital online malarkey. What an Edith this has all been. Cash and paper tickets are where it’s at. |

Gordon bleeding Bennett. So does that mean I can’t just send the tickets to my mates? How have we ended up in a world where getting a ticket and using it for a poxy football ground is like getting into Fort Knox via The Krypton Factor? Want to attend and don’t want to use a phone . Sorry, go watch bowls you old hippy. Modern life is like a QR code that doesn’t work. |

Dave, how many times have we seen that? It’s pretty typical of what we are. It does surprise me how so many expect us to be better than we actually are. |
