It's great to see intent in our play. It might not always pay off but if you have that mind set it can only lead to better things. It also helps to set standards |

I know some people might think the celebrating after a win with the likes of Mbengue doing his thing, is a bit much. However, I think it builds a connection between the players and the fans. It's about time we had some fun at games and celebrate our successes. I think it has also helped players like Madsen, who now looks fully up to speed and controlling midfield in certain games. |

I think at first the role of captain didn't quite sit right with him. He was always a leader with his performances. He has had to learn how to be a leader with the way he deals with the players during games and how he interacts with them. The last few weeks he has hit that balance perfectly. |

He has a proper football brain. Understands space and how to create it with a simple first time pass. I think the manager saw that early and Madsen is almost his voice on the pitch. He will implement the game plan. The turn around in his defensive play is remarkable. At times he just bullies people |

No figure wagging here little man. Purely pointing out the obvious that you are oblivious too. You say you don't mind if people agree with you or not or maybe that's just directed towards me. Either way, if you don't care either way, why do you get all huffy and throw your toys out your pram. |

No. I believe you have unrealistic expectations on what is going to be asked in the managers post-match interviews, taking into account the questions are being asked by someone who is employed by the club and/or public relations teams. You are repeatedly told this. Yes, I totally agree with you that the manager should face higher scrutiny but that won't happen through in house media. You are then a rude and condescending to anyone who points this out or disagrees with you. They reply in kind. You then play the victim, and in a lot of posts will add something about how you are treated/spoken to, for just having an opinion. Like your reply here. Failing to understand or realise how you write when someone gets in a debate with you. For someone who says that they like language/words and I believe being some sort of editor (I apologise, I can't remember the exact details) your inability to be able to have some self-reflection and acknowledge the words you use and the tone you chose, is ever so slightly spikey, is surprising Despite stating facts, I look forward to being called a moron or something like that blah blah blah (also I think you are right about the 5 changes for West Ham) |

No I totally get that but it also depends on what the manager wants from him. What attributes he is interested in maximizing. I think he wants someone who can start play from deep. The slide rule pass to RND a prime example. It might be worth trying putting him further forward, I just think doing that upsets the balance of the rest of the team as you we don't have anyone else with his range of passing who can play from that slight deeper position |

I think we keep Madsen where he is. He has done well so no need to rock the boat and then suddenly change things for him. I would really like to see Poku start to get a run out on the right side. If Chair isn't fit, Saito or Smyth on the left. Or maybe Dembele on the left. He was playing well there in pre season and also earlier on in the season when he could get to the byline and cross with his dominant foot. If Vale gets fit, I would give him a go as the 10. All depends if Chair is a longer lasting injury or not |

change of formation. Burrell up top and loads of our busy 10's and wide players behind him. Might see Poku get a game now, especially with Chair potentially being out |

Exactly to both posts. Last time he spoke to the media was when he wanted his new contract. Since then, nothing. Where was his voice during his teams slump. Showing he is one of the leaders of the dressing room. He has done good things for them but he is playing badly. They are leaking goals. He doesn't track back and isn't doing what he is paid to do. Was shit most of the second half of last season. Liverpool should get rid to Saudi. They will get a fortune for him and he can be centre of attention in another league |

Kone is very good when he has the ball at his feet. Good control and strength will get him the half yard needed. He isn't going to be running on to balls after a 20 yard sprint though. Not his game. If he goes to AFCON I think we will revert to 4231 with Burrell up top and any one from Chair (if fit) Dembele, Saito, Smyth, Vale and Poku behind him |
 | Forum Reply | Madsen at 17:45 6 Dec 2025
I like that he is now using his physical attributes to get and retain the ball. Leaning on players etc. That tackle in the first half was good too. He is slowly becoming a leader in the middle. Talking and directing his team. He has a calmness about him but still think there is more to come. Can take control of games even more |

You are very delusional little man. I guess all the arguments you have on here is all because of the other person. Nothing to do with the the one common factor in all of this. If this is how you are in the real world and not just on a message board, I really do pity you. Must be a very lonely life. Take care little man |

No. Someone is talking about you like the way you talk about others on here. Amusing how you can give it out but can't take it. Pathetic little man |
 | Forum Reply | Isaac Hayden at 19:49 29 Nov 2025
Hayden has to start. Varane far too inconsistent. Hayden anticipates and reads danger. Making sure he is in the right place. Varane doesn't read it. He reacts to it. Hopes that his physicality will get us out of danger |
 | Forum Reply | Dembele improvement at 15:48 27 Nov 2025
I really think having Mbengue as a right back is helping him. A lot of the time although he is playing out wide his starting position is slightly narrower. It allows him to go past a player either side of them. Also if you have Mbengue charging down the outside it is something else for the defenders to think about. Same with RND going down the line. Allows Chair to come inside or start a bit narrower. Chair doesn't have the speed to be a winger but playing a bit more inside he has the skill to make some space for himself and make something happen |
 | Forum Reply | Smyth and Dunne on tonight's win at 09:27 27 Nov 2025
Dunne is really growing into the role of captain. Yes his style of play, was always captain material but now he is so much more vocal. Becoming a real leader. The amount of times he is the worse one on the scene when someone does something good, to let them know it. When Nardi did the save in the first half, he was the first one there and when Smyth got his goal, he really celebrated with him |
 | Forum Reply | Loveliest Town in England Match Thread at 21:48 26 Nov 2025
Kone needs to play in and around the box. He has a good touch, can use skill to create space and get passed the marker, but he isn't going to pull away from players from 40 yards out. |
