I can’t believe the amount of younger fans who are following this club now.A couple of years ago it seemed like it was only us old fogeys that were left,but it’s great to see a whole new generation of fans ready to replace us both home and especially away from home.
Long may it continue,and I hope they get the rewards their support deserves.But I’m not planning to give up my ML front row seat any time soon. |

I had to miss Jamie Mackie’s winner against Liverpool in 2012.It was a school night and the last train was the 22.30 from Liverpool st.Afyer that it would’ve been a bus replacement that would get in about 1.30,which I thought was too late for my 10 year daughter.And I saw the equaliser and thought that was a good point earned and I’d settle for that at 2-0 on 75 minutes.
It made up for it a bit when I saw the clip of Phil Thompson chewing on a lemon on SSN. |

The early train tickets from Stowmarket to London are cheaper than leaving it later,but my train gets in at 2.45 and if I go straight to the pub I’d be too drunk to watch the game.Also we tend to have a good record in games where I’ve walked the 7 miles before the game,but I think it might just be coincidence.I’ve done it about 10-15 times over the past couple of years and we’ve only lost a couple.I don’t do it every game but most evening games I’ll do it.
I do pass every central line station to Shepherd’s Bush on my walk,but I find it better than sitting on a tube for 30 minutes.And I’m definitely ready for a beer when I get there.
Early season games are better because of the weather but as long as it’s not tipping it down I’ll walk. |

Possibly if they’ve stabilised the patient and they can be moved,the game can continue I reckon.Maybe the lady at Ipswich was ok to move to a safer place or hospital?

I will be walking again on Tuesday,but no gig this time.I don’t think I’ll be walking to Middlesbrough on Saturday though,unless I start out at 10pm on Tuesday night. |
