Yep, because money guarantees talent of courseđ. Indeed, it provides opportunity I admit but you still need the ability. Motor racing is an expensive sport. Tennis is the same but isnât anywhere near as expensive of course. Itâs just got the impression of exclusivity which it shouldnât. |

Precisely this R. Iâm not looking for an argument on here but I am sensitive to the âArgentinaâ chant and wearing colours of a country responsible for the deaths of many a Brit. There was somebody on here whose avatar was Maradonna in an Argentinian shirt!!đĄ |

Canât see beyond Norris tbh. That said, although popular, heâs not as popular as he should be amongst the British public who tend to be Max Verstappen fanboys. They may vote for someone else or not at all. |

So wearing an Argentinian coloured shirt is to get Patagonians interested in them is it? I remember the chants of âArgentinaâ down the Vetch in the 80s. Made me sick to the core so thatâs why I find it insulting. |

My comment wasnât meant to be negative for the sake of it. It was just a statement of fact. |

Was it Ronald or Idah? |

Energetic, not without some skill and ability but lightweight. |

Totally agree about Ronald and have said so on numerous occasions in here. However, what I saw last night was when he had the ball at times, second half especially, he had three defenders with him. Why, I donât know as he canât really get the better of a one-on-one. But in these moments, with two extra men marking him, there will be gaps elsewhere which we need to be prepared for and exploit. At the moment there seems to be a (misplaced?) aura about him backed up by the commentators saying how good a player he is - though they did say heâs not PL standard. Letâs exploit this before heâs found out completely! |

Thatâs quite hilarious isnât it. Hus first move of the game he tackled himself after getting in the area. Next time in the same position he didnât look up and passed it to a Portsmouth player. He hasnât much of a football brain for this level. |

A group of us from school went to the Whites v Pontypool game at CAP in 1976. In those days you could walk around reasonably freely and we found ourselves walking down the tunnel beneath where CAP met the main stadium. Who should be walking down towards us but Mervyn Davies. As a group of slightly excitable young 15 year olds we said hello to him as he was coming towards us. He totally ignored us. It was as if we were not there and we were all a bit taken aback by his rudeness. Then of course during the game he collapsed, right in front of where we were standing and the rest is history. It dawned on us that whatever happened on the pitch was starting to affect him well before the game. It was a sad day. |

Weather will play a part as well. Hope it stops raining by then. Our guys are going to be more tired than Portsmouth. |
