A focus whichnwas much needed.....its such a shame rhe good work done back then was undone in in some ways when the club was sold in 2016.

Who knows where we might have ended up if not for what you guys did back then

Mel offered to buy the club well before Petty
There used to be a SCFC golf day and I was there when Mike Lewis made a speech in the evening and Mel was in attendance he stated that Mel had made an offer but Lewis wouldnt accept it.

lets be honest Keith if he didnt have weaknesses he wouldnt be here a PL xlub would have snapped him up before us

He can beat players but not from a standing start when he is running onto the ball hencan beat players,he did so early in the first half last night put a ballnintonthe box but there was no one on the end of it

He is a food wimg back as we have seen in the last two games and Williams fancied him there.

I get why some fans call him out as crap.....but I remember a certain winger called Leighton James wbo did nothingnfor 88 minutes but would produce 2 minutes of magic not that I am suggesting these two are in the same class

Another win another clean sheet and another "team" Performance

Still early days but I think Matos has something.....watching the inside Swans video gishows hin as a leader especially the way he addresses the staff at Fairwood.
Watching him with KoL,Joey and Leon at the end of tonight and Saturday says amlot about him to me.
He has arrived and due to circumstances beyond his control is without his staff but is getting on with the job no toys out of prams and is doing all he can to unite everyone.

In a short while he has taken a squad of crap players (according to some) and git them playing as a team and though tonight wasnt pretty there were like Saturday glimpses of what can be we created opportunities and when attacking we seem to get at least 4 persons in the box.

Stiffer challenge Saturday I will take a point right now.
Interesting that whilst Key was "fit" for tonigjt he didnt start and Kasey was preferred as sub as we switxhed to 3-5-2 or 5-4-1 to see the game out .....using Ronald as right wing back.

As said its still early days but it looms like maybe this person with onky 12 ganes in the Potugese 2nd league might be another discovery and after alk thats 12 more games than Tosh,Jan Molby,Martinez had had .....oh and more than Garry Monk when he replaced Laudrup when things were deemed to be going awry in thw PL at least the others were "risked" when we were in lower leagues.

Lets all get behind the lads a week Friday whatwver Saturdays result fill the stadium and be the 12th man

Too many preconceived biases from fans...who know better than football proffessionals.

Yes we fans have opinions on individual players but surely managers and coaches know best?

Totally agree....confidence is a huge factor and I belueve Matos is a coach who instills that
Today he could be seen applauding players who trued postive attacking play or passes which didnt quite come off

yet so many were purring of us under Sheehan defending him despite his only wins being against very poor sides

The question which cannot be answered is would we have got this result under Sheehan?

In fairness to Matos he has only had 11 days to work with the squad,and amongst those days as had 2 games before todays
There are positive signs ,the players seem to be playing with.more desire there are visible signs if patterns of play which have been worked on in training time will tell and we have 27 games yet to improve.

Yes one swallow doesnt make a summer and all that BUT once we settked after a poor first 20 minutes we looked a far different team....in fact we looked like a team....than what we saw from thebstaetnofntue season.
The players worked for each other, havent seen Eom track back and tacjle as much as he did today.

There was evidence of patterns of play when we were attacking which have been missing previously which when things click....if they click..will provide more goals.

In fairness Matos has only had 11 days with the players but in all the games he has been in charge there have been signs of improvement and yes we capitulated agaunst West Brom but today we held on and kept a clean sheet

Matis alsi changed formation in the game and though he was booked in doing so was precise in his communications to those on the pitch as he was making changes.

Todays results show how crazy the Championship is we beat a "poor" Oxford whoblast week beat Ipswich who battered us and then Ipswich beat the league leaders Coventry convincingly today.

Big game Tuesday continue as we did today and I m sure we will get a wun

There may be problems with eligibility criteria

You can apply for an International Sportsperson visa if you meet the eligibility requirements and your sport’s governing body endorses your application, confirming:

you’re an elite sportsperson or qualified coach
you’re internationally established
your employment will develop your sport in the UK at the highest level
This visa replaced the Sportsperson (T2) visa and the sporting part of the Temporary Worker - Creative and Sporting

Maybe the FA/FAW wont endorse the application....

Applications have to be appdoved by the FA , will the FAW also have a say?
Once this stage gets the green light then the Government departments decide on rhe secision to grant a visa.

Will the FA/FAW be reluctant given we sacked our backroom?

That said though itnseemed ro take around 12 days or so for Hellberg and his assistant to get visas
