Hi Sam/ Matt not been a. Lot over Xmas I’d say is close to be going decent for a start Portsmouth awful West Brom awful . Funnily enough a fair few people have been saying roughly the same things esp about varanne who in prob the last 4 games has been Way below standard he did play like others well v Leicester though . With ref mebenge he’s a half decent full back once again as said by others ,he does get a free pass I’d say because he’s a. Character , his nickname where I sit is funny dou dou mad as a box frogs occasional brilliance and also the odd rash tackle or two. an improvement on dunne at right back for sure though .
U might want to check back it’s been said a few few times this season by me and a fair few others esp those who go to the games who beg for a substitution think even Clive’s write up ofwest Brom said the same thing. Do find it interesting that most of your reply’s on threads are after something I’ve said ummmm . As for plan b. As mentioned earlier. madson got a kick in the first half ankle or foot and he was hobbling for a fair while after it as well . his turnaround has been biblical from last season hes getting into tackles more using his body more when hes got the ball as well , im eating a large portion of humble pie this season thats for sure. id like to see field hadyn and madson on sunday with kone up front , |

if they have gone the garlic route it seems weird as from reading some press about other clubs who use it , and its pretty common its done pre season , and also stinks to high heaven , somebody said after the stoke game a comment was made by mark robins . about players beig told to wash off what ever was on the pitch after the game . but as usual the club have decided not to make any comment about it when its obvious to anyone whos been to a game its a serious problem |

been saying that since madson broke into the team , two dog workers alongside him to give him the space and time on the ball, issue then would be us going back to one up front prob , a hadyn field madson middle three would be a an option . |

thats always been an issue until recent years on the ellerslie road side of the pitch , not the whole pitch including the goal area , they also have the lamps which are used for this time of year and before. the putch in recent years even down the ellerslie road side has held up pretty good , what ever has happeend now is way past low sunlight . |

been reading up on this supposed wonder stugg of garlic on pitches , seems to be common for years but comes with huge issue of the smell , people spraying it have to be fully kitted up , masks u name it and its not done mid season , when man united used it you could smell it for miles around the ground its that bad , so either del boy has been down the ground offering some dodgy barrells of a possibly garlic like susbtance on the cheap. or as clive said somebody has dropped a major bollock and used ther wrong stuff . it a shame as i like seeing my fav players on the pitch each week , so if this is going to cause more injuries than a missing fitness coach ( allegedly) its gonna be a long second half of the season |

thing is as the root has nylon running through it , and what ever dirt is washed away it will case u way more ankle and knee injuries as ur be turning basically with nylon wrapped around ur studs . and we funnily enough picked up two injuries of that type on sat |

Was nice to see Sam back in midfield today doing Sam field stuff,tackling keeping with runners , getting forward with the ball . All sadly missing from varanne in recent months , hopefully he stays there for the foreseeable future . |

Pretty easy varanne has to play as he’s one of our chances of a decent transfer fee, not this season though he’s regressed to the player which joined us , lazy uninterested poor ball control that was in the present market prob worth 2 million not the 6 mill which is rumoured to have been offered last season but he still must play it seems |
