I see what you’re saying,my point is we can’t keep letting it happen because sooner or later someone will take advantage of it and hurt us
Better If we don’t give them the space in the first place

Murphy did have loads of space on Wednesday, particularly first half , it was right in front of of me ,particularly when Galbraith went forward and the ball was turned over, a bloke just below me was going mad over it , our central defenders did well but we can’t keep allowing teams space like that

We were still leaving the wide players have too much time and space against Portsmouth and were lucky Murphy didn’t hurt us more , against Stoke we have to be tighter and more alert,we can’t keep doing it

People around us were saying Ronald looked knackered and was puffing and blowing after 1/4 of an hour , but he did manage to see the game out

He showed more strength last night ,notably winning a ball in the second half on the opposite side of the pitch for him , he is improving this side of his game

Yes , it was noticeable Zan was far more willing to bust a gut and effective when he came on , winning balls and catching opponents in possession and putting the Centre halves under more pressure

We gave Murphy too much time and space on the ball first half last night , he put quite a few crosses in and we were luckily able to deal with them , everyone where I was sitting was asking the same question, why weren’t we marking him tighter ,second half was better but we can’t keep standing off wide players like that
I think we have to start Zan every game, he brings players into the game more and is always looking to get a shot away
Eom did well again and so did the midfield

Zan should start every game,he puts more pressure on the opposition and can make things happen and brings others into the game better,he’s also not afraid to have a pop from anywhere , he made a big difference when he came on last night

fact as of Sunday (it could be before that, you can’t see something until you actually see it) open source reviews are very clear in their suggested content on these three coaches. They are at Swansea. If that changes as it seems to do daily then Vitor won’t be gaining touchline support as quickly as he would like. The work permit situation is most certainly going to take time. Why ? First of all the club will use a special service to get through the work permit issue if there isn’t a qualified person within Swansea City. Players are different to coaches, the matter is a bit easier. However, since Brexit there is no immediate freedom of movement which means paperwork, endorsements and a satisfactory track record. Antonio Conte as an example would have no issues at all gaining a UK work permit. League 2 in Portugal isn’t listed as a recognised league to recruit from for immediate endorsement, but there will be other ways to gain a permit for these three staff in limbo. They also have to be endorsed by the Football League, via a Governing Body Endorsement, that can be tricky, and a Pro Licence (A ) UEFA holder is a must have. Or an equivalent. All three coaches are qualified.

That helps.

Surely these qualifications count for something

Just keep it simple again and not overplay or over complicate things ,mark tightly ,pass accurately and break quickly

The 3 coaches were coming to us with guaranteed work , earning money and paying their taxes and any other contributions required in our country , I think they’d even be allowed into Australia under those circumstances, and their regulations are tight

January Transfer Rumours

I think we just need to get back to basics, let the CB’s do the basic stuff clearing the ball ,dealing with high balls and let the midfielders play the ball on the floor, that’s what teams do to us effectively, yesterday we were much better not arsing about at the back and getting it forward quicker

Agree with this,Fisher has played well in the games he played this season including Man City , he’s alert to balls played over the top and does go for high balls

Totally agree the referees this season are poor and causing problems not stopping them and that plays right into the hands of a cynical team and spoils the game and we’ve had more than our fair share of them
On yellow cards,it frustrates me that opponents get away with numerous blatant fouls yet we always seem to get the first yellow card really bloody annoying

He is a very good reaction saver and has made some high class saves for us
But He does tend to stay on his line and doesn’t command his area like some but as I said he has saved us on many occasions with smart stops
I’d like to see him come for aerial balls more as he is a big unit and should be better in the air
Let’s hope Matos will stop the nonsensical passing around at the back as Vig doesn’t look comfortable with it and all it really does is give opponents time to mark players up ,just let him shift the ball forward quicker and get us moving

It was a typical Gary Rowett team performance , I said before the game he’d have them niggling and using all the cynical fouls and tricks trying to stop us playing and that’s exactly what they tried to do ,his tactics have been the same everywhere he’s been , we didn’t succumb and got a great 3 points
