Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s Enterprise National League fixture against Aldershot.
TVOS has been overhauled for this season, but still contains many of its popular features – and new ones – to keep you entertained and informed before, during and after the match!
The programme starts with a front cover image of on-loan defender Kevin Berkoe, backed by a poppy design to support Saturday being the club’s Remembrance fixture.
Jimmy McNulty looks back at Tuesday’s defeat at York, after which we have a host of features, including:
STATS OF THE DAY – the numbers that matter ahead of this midweek fixture.
A REAL COUPE – supporter Dave Coupe continues to reflect on his 40 years as a fan.
ON THIS DAY – previous games and Dale players connected to 15th November.
HALF-TIME QUIZ – an updated quiz page that tests your Dale and general footballing knowledge.
SCRUTATOR – the longest-serving columnist in football programmes returns to talk about when people simply don’t understand why football fans do the things they do.
ACROSS THE WATER – Bray-based Dale fan Brian Quigley is back with his take on general football matters.
THROUGH THE YEARS – what Dale were doing at this time 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 & 50 Years Ago.
HAT-TRICK HEROES - a new feature that looks at hat-tricks scored by Dale players. This time, the last player to score exactly four goals in a match for the club.
DALE ACTION – a selection of images from the games against York City (FA Cup) and Yeovil Town.
TRAVELLER’S TALES – the ever-popular write-up of watching Dale on the road, with reflections on the trip to Woking.
DO YOU REMEMBER THAT - a new series that reminisces about unusual moments and incidents that often crop up in Dale-related conversations. This time, a kit that made it difficult to distinguish between the teams in some matches.
Visitors Aldershot Town get five pages of coverage, which includes a fantasy 5-a-side team made-up of players who represented both clubs.
All this and much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
