| Six Nations Preview 13:25 - Jan 13 with 9514 views | onehunglow | Soon ,it will be upon us so how do we feel Are we justified to be overwhelming favourites for a third wooden spoon Being a negative naysaying kind of guy ,I foresee us ending with a record minus points difference and being thrashed by fecord scores by each nation. First off ,Twickers ,with a baying cocksure crowd urging on the likes of Henry Pollock ,who will be grinning from ear to ear Its a horrific prospect and then France. We do have some hope there as French lads might sample too many delights of our capital and Monsieur Dupont gets salmonella from a Clarkes pie. If not,God knows what he will do. We are so bad thast other nations want us to do well,as they feel a weak Wales is bad for the game .And it is . Problem is ,we are lost at sea squabbling with each other and with a WRU unfit for purpose but with the brass neck to try to see it out. They wont . I know many hate the game but surely this is national humiliation and we all want a Wales team to win,Don't we. On a personal note ,this March ,I moved up here fifty years ago. On that day ,we thrashed Ireland by 30 points and scored tries that are still talked about . We had a scrum, line out and had players with cunning and skill and a kicker to boot. Thoughts | |

| Six Nations Preview on 13:45 - Feb 5 by EagleEye | I can categorically say that is the weakest starting Welsh XV that I have seen in my lifetime. Will probably give this match a miss. |
Part of me wants further humiliation if it would wake up the WRU However, can’t see that as I view them as la king sporting and professional acumen with utter immorality in how it deals with people They are sinister We need players to boycott Now It would be short term pain but it’s time Swansea has lost its pro cricket and soon its rugby It’s a famous place Sacrificed on the Cardiff capital altar

They have alienated half of the rugby following population of South Wales. If the member clubs don’t call an EGM with a vote of no confidence, I believe things will actually get worse. Absolute disgrace. The only other options now seems to be if Swansea city council can pull off a legal intervention, Llanelli & Newport refuse to sign the proposals on the table … long shots. Hope they fail to sell all the leftover tickets still at extortionate prices

Newport already have a signed contract, the Scarlets won't do anything to rock the boat because they know they have had a lucky escape.

It's dog eat dog. Dragons can't believe probably how lucky they are. When we mention crowds . It wasn't so long ago Cardiff Blues or whatever they are called had pathetic crowds when they were playing at the Cardiff City Stadium. Although I don't want to conflate football and Rugby. How many CCFC supporters come from East Wales? As everyone knows most Cardiff football fans come from outside Cardiff unlike Swansea. To me Cardiff should represent South East Wales. Ospreys Mid to South West . Turks West Wales but in all honesty there should remain 4 regions/teams

They were impressive in that first half, they sat back on their laurels a little bit in that second half, although Irelands game improved in the 2nd half and it was a more even contest, until France got themselves together and finished the job. I expect Shaun Edwards whispered a few choice words at the team at the end though, because they lapsed first half of that 2nd half, I think England have the game to beat France though, be a decent contest though, although thinking about I'm not sure where that game will be played. I watch a lot of rugby through the age groups, I really don't know how it falls apart at senior level.

I think the Ref is giving the 50/50's to England, picking up things that Wales are doing that England got away with 1st half. Im probably being ever so slight one eyed there though [Post edited 6 Feb 21:12]

The bench won it for England, yet again the lack of funding in grass roots Rugby by the Tw@ts at WRU has taken its toll.

Yep quality player, pity he's arrived at this point with players of lesser quality around him. Bit harsh perhaps, but its not their fault its the lack of WRU funding and preparation for the future during the good times when the Welsh team was flying.
