Strange I got pelters yesterday for stating that a nd was told to "drop it man" Jan Feb and March have each got a 3 game week in it... and in all 3 we are 2 away and 1 at home.. and Feb it is Hull and,Southampton in 3 days Yes all clubs have 3 game weeks, but how many have like us in the 7 upto March from November we have 5 two away and one at home ? It is not an excuse it is a fact Yesterday for 45 minutes were suberb... and I said the first 20 mins of the 2nd half Wrexham would come for us, they did and scored. Then for the next 20 mins we pushed hard again and scored ...but that last 15mins you could see they were shot... and the Mbebgue challenge was the catalyst Football is not like when I first attended when you had back to back games, and the players would turn out after a few pints, a couple of fags and a bet... and have a kick around,it is so much more physical Yes questions must be asked about injuries and fitness, but I still think that we are hard done by on this scheduling. Finally Wrexham were able to bring on a player of the calibre of Dean Windass....us a youngster in Daniel Bennie |

From November until March excluding Christmas...there are 7 x 3 game weeks... we are going to have 5 away 2 games and the one at home in that 7 Now I don't study other teams and I'm sure there are others that do but to me that can't be right? How many other teams have this ratio? And are they faring better than us if there are teams with this same schedule? Why is is weighted like this? I'm as pig sick about today as everyone... but it happens... better teams than us have lost games like this and better teams will in the future I m sorry if it goes against the narrative on here that we are useless, unprofessional etc etc... but I only ask that my team tries and that they care... what I saw today is them doing that I left the ground absolutely gutted tonight, the polar opposite as when I left the ground against Leicester. We are not an Arsenal... there is a reason we are a mid table championship side... |

Great Post.... exactly it... when Morgan scored that last gasp winner it was such an high.. and now we lost a game in the same way .. always gutting I thought were were good today until we visibly tired in that 2nd half... hate losing... detest losing like that... but sh!t happens... |

Defeatist...it is far from it...were you there today? We have an injury list... look over our schedule over the year and tell me how many 3 games weeks till today we have 2 away games. Today that team gave everything... I will never forgive a team that doesn't try... that don't give a sh!t ... but when they leave everything on the pitch and loose like that I can't blame them I guess you are some kind of superman that can keep standards high when your absolutely out on your legs... well done you then |

I will go against the grain here and say I thought we were fantastic today That 1st half was superb... and yes we can blame Mbengue for getting sent off... we can blame this and that... but the reality of it is our schedule Wrexham were at-home to Norwich and then Leicester... where were we Sat and Tues ? Then next month on Sat we are at Hull and 3 days later at Southampton thar will be nearly 400 miles of travel Then March we have Birmingham on the Tue and Leicester on the Sat... This will be 3 months running where 2 games in a 3 week game we are away... this can't be right.... We just run out of steam it is as simple as that... I don't blame the players...they gave absolutely everything today... and I'm guessing they are more p!ssed than us I'm fcuking fuming over this inane scheduleing we seem to have, not at the players |

Well that was a very decent 35 mins from us, and they came back into it the last 15 mins but never looked threatening Where in the last 2 games we have been singing the praises of our back 4, it is the attacking part that as excelled this half In that first 35 mins Dembele looked really sharp and Kone has led that line very well indeed, both players are playing the best for many a game Vale as looked sharp as well, but the stand out for me is Madsen, he really is a Rolls Royce of a player. He has completely run everything in midfield, and the sign of a good player is how much time he seems to have. Make the most of him because I can see him going for a very decent profit Being in F block of SA road, you can really see how organised we are without the ball now, our banks of 4 and sometimes of 4/5 is very difficult to breakdown A good first half, pity Smyth never buried that chance. The only negatives for me is only the one goal & Mad Ben out for the next 2 games now I believe. Sure Wrexham will come hard at us 2nd half, just need to weather the first 20 mins or so |

On the train up... speeding toward Canterbury West as we speak Surely JS has to make changes ... Cook must have a picture somewhere in his attic aging disgracefully... and the way he us playing I would give the old boy another contract!! if Dembele starts we deserve everything we don't get... a win !! But I just have a feeling... this could go our day So against all profound medical advice I'mgoing ........ yes a win... 4th clean sheet... don't think that is possible... but a fighting 2-1.... Scorers... OG and Jimmy boy.. you heard it here first [Post edited 24 Jan 10:22]

Well... I said on my very first post I would take a dour 0-0 again... so I guess I have to be content with that...but That was a hard watch. OK conditions wasn't great, and yes we have injuries... but god it was dismal. Positives... hard to pick any... definitely another clean sheet... and er .. well... yes... er....Walsh looked a safe pair of hands... and Vale's cameo was Positive... and WBA shipped 5 at home... so there are another set of fans more p!ssed than us and well that is it Whatever said... the injury was terrible and wish the lad all the best, and Saturday is going to be a real test, Wrexham look on fire . Saturday is going to be a real real test... |
