I think you are right about Disney. My bad - so many Apps, such poor content on most with the odd exception. I’m predicting the starting line up and system for that game is exactly the same but with RND in at LB. |

Until the injury, it sounded like he was on his way out. I guess his salary would release funds for others. Now I’m not sure what we plan to do. I know he can cover LB but against a pacy winger, he really struggles. Maybe we have someone else lined up before next week. |

Dunne went down hard on his shoulder last night and I thought it was the end of his game but he just got on with it. Whilst he’s more mobile now, he was carrying something else earlier in the season - he could barely jump at times. At some point, he will need a break and in a 3 game week I was suggesting some game time for Edwards would have been reasonable - possibly not as direct replacement. Just some time in his legs and some awareness of what his teammates are doing. He could have done a job alongside Madsen for example. Or we could have switched to a 3 at the back and chased the game a bit harder by pushing the FBs up the pitch and maybe carrying the ball out to them. Either way, he would have had some game time and that would ease him in - but we don’t appear to have the flexibility to do that, so it’s going to be a direct swap at some point I suspect. I just hope that’s before we lose another 1st choice player. |

On the subject of forward thinking/moving/progressive players - are we saving Edwards so we can kill him to death for the Netflix cameras on our beautifully prepared carpet of a pitch ? Or is there a greater plan for him ? I would have thought 20-30mins - maybe in midfield - might have done him (and us) some good last night. I’d also be looking hard at injuries to Dunne snd Cook too. Dunne did his shoulder again last night but carried on regardless. At some stage he needs a rotation so why not start that process early ? Or switch to a 3 and share the load with some greater flexibility. If Oxford have worked it out, I’m sure more astute teams have a plan for our rigidity. |

Burrell’s injury was badly managed, timed and completely predictable in so many ways. He will probably be the difference in the seasons end outcome for me. |

Madsen was taking control later on - Bennie running hard and making space. Smyth also putting it in work wise and Dembele trying too. Calling on Dorse to see some early Subs and Norks |
