I was intrigued, but when I finally saw her on film I was a bit disappointed, because I didn't find her sexy. Very pretty, yes, but not sexy. Chacun à son goût, as she might have said. Nevertheless, she was a confusing cultural phenomenon, an icon of the 60s who somehow embodied the spirit of the age. RIP.

Re. your first point, you were far from alone in your toxic criticism of him and I'm sure many others (myself included) feel both a bit ashamed, but also incredibly happy to be eating massive slices of humble pie. Madsen's transformation into one of the most elegant, intelligent playmakers in this league is wonderful to behold.

What effin planet are you on mate? I've watched several interviews with JS and he is clearly highly intelligent, articulate and impressively fluent in English. The EFL's top division is a really tough test for any manager, especially one who has no experience of English football, and I think JS has shown intelligence and adaptability as he comes to terms with this footballing crucible. He's also new to this country and to QPR as well. Coming up to halfway through the season, we're in 9th place, 3 points off the play-offs. Not bad going for someone who's not 'very bright', according to you.
I thought Madsen was the Don tonight. Ran the show at times. I thought Varane's defensive work was superb too. It's taken a bit of time, but the manager has shown faith in these two together and I think it's starting to pay off.
Apologies if this is a Spackman, but I can't see any reference on LFW to the fan sites meeting with Nourry that took place on the 4th December. I would have thought someone from this site would have been present?

Talking of cider I once visited this fantastic pub in Dorset called the Square and Compass that had something like a hundred ciders on tap, including its own home-pressed cider. In the fabulously named village of Worth Matravers. And I tell you what, it really was worth ma travels.
