Unfortunately I was at the CBS Arena in August for the nadir & if anyone had told me we would beat them in the return fixture I would’ve thought they were certifiable. The result on Saturday is particularly good for JS who must’ve been shell shocked after that August game but as mentioned in the report promised an instant response for the next game v Charlton & got it. Obviously the season has ups & downs (last week) but to go on & beat Coventry on Saturday (after conceding the 1st goal) with an excellent performance shows huge improvement.
The extra time was almost unbearable but unconfined joy when the final whistle actually went…...Hi Ho 👏🏻
JS will have to wear that grey coat more often.. 😉
In the 2nd half he pulled a really tricky ball down superbly with 1 touch & retained possession. Maybe should have done better with the chances on goal he had & marking for their goal but didn’t hide at all for a youngster.
Well it certainly wasn’t pretty, but how many times have we seen Rangers lose games like that? To come away with a point from the original home of Pullis sh*thousery has to give some extra satisfaction particularly with so many injuries.
As others have already stated a stand out performance again from Dunne with Cook not far behind. Not so good from the more advanced players with only Madsen seemingly able to pass to a teammate.
Certainly better than away games at Watford, Coventry, Derby & Norwich, so a pragmatic point I think.
Completely agree with this, good player but nothing really special. If the terms of the deal are ok then let him go, there is adequate cover in his DM position & need to take the profit if we can.
The move may suit him, back to France & St Etienne currently 4th in Ligue 2, probably not as intense as the Championship.
