So, when this guitar arrived (brand new) in July the action was the worst I'd ever seen on a guitar since I started playing. Laughably high. But I was so into my nylon string guitar that I put this to the side until Xmas where I decided to try to set it up.
Complete shit show. Getting it lower gave me some dead-ish frets. Far too fked for me to fix. Luckily there's a guitar tech guy in town who is shit hot at this stuff. Dropped it off yesterday and picked it up today.
Truss rod/saddle adjustment. Recut the nut. And filed and redressed every fret to get things level. Insane work but the guitar is buttery now and I might actually use it.
Considering it cost £529, it really should have been better out of the box.
For me it just means the worst performing player. I've seen players go from shite to good, from 'boo boy' to cult hero.
If you're not trying or, worse, just aren't good enough then people will let you and the manager know. At least if you keep getting match time when you shouldn't.
You've got to be some right kind of tw@t to do that sort of penalty. It frustrates the hell out of me when people do that bitch stutter step thing too.
And while you're at it, put it in the top corner and don't just play the 50/50 odds of putting it low. Cowards. That goes double for Gavin Peacock, the absolute pussy.
My brother is to blame. That said, apparently he once bought me a West Ham shirt in an effort to get some sort of sibling rivalry going but I called bullshit on that.
I'm not unhappy with an away point. And I would have literally cummed oil if Kone had scored that last chance. But I also watched that match for free on a stream.
If I had wasted a Saturday and however much cash it costs to get to and get into Stoke's ground to watch that bullshit, I'd be questioning my commitment to the cause.
Thankfully my commitment barely extends past this forum and the occasional home match. So f**k it.
Seeing these comments, I was expecting something more. Banks' save was better. And Nardi does like three of these per game and everyone thinks he's shit.
It feels like a bit of an Americanism. The yanks have been doing this shit forever. Like if there is a God why would they give a f**k about you scoring a touchdown or whatever.
Like, yeah it's nice that God let you score that three pointer or win that fight but odd that babies still get cancer.
