I watched some of their midweek game away at Hull.
Watford were the dominant side .
Although he didn't stand out in the Hull game , the Watford player to watch is Imran Louza their Moroccan midfielder.
A proper classy player who can spray passes around for fun and split defences , he's like a Championship Pirlo. |

My old man used to take me my sister on it back in the 70s.
I've taken my kids and nephew over the years and they love it...what's not to like ..a little boat trip out on the sea, followed by a rickety train ride down the pier .
A walk around Hythe and a bite to eat in Seashells cafe ..lovely little day out.
Really hope it can be saved. |

I generally only watch Championship games now and have no real interest in either the Prem or Champions league.
Even the lower leagues and National league are of more interest to me. |

Why did you rarely if ever point out Bazunu's mistakes Nick?
You thought he was good enough for us . I'd guess about 95% of fans thought differently.
Also why would anyone expect Peretz to be perfect?
If he was any better he'd likely be at a Premier league or a starter at a Bundesliga club.
He's decent clearly but has flaws , but is definitely an upgrade on Baz . |

Jan transfer window loan signing....never going to bring in some marquee signing. Any proper decent striker is not coming to us..be real.

Watched on the big screen with my lad and his mates down the Northam fanzone.
It was pretty packed , 8 quid a ticket but you got a pie and a pint for " free" .
Good atmosphere, a band, Mark Dennis geeing up the crowd.
Beer thrown everywhere when we scored.
A fun day , disappointing result but team show some spirit. |

Yep, they probably are our best two currently and sadly as you point out it's not a great standard!
Stephens is poor in ariel duels and ball watches too much.
THB is not great in the air defensively as well and loses concentration and blames others for his failings.
They are also capable of good performances s being leaders at the back.
Plenty on here that just hate on Stephens and have cemented minds...they'll never acknowledge it when he has a decent game....strange . |

Solid gritty win...just what we needed.
1. Better with 4 at the back.
2. Wellington better defensively than no Mannings land
3. Ross Stewart a focal point, outlet. Made they're CBs panic.
4. The keeper saved us near the end from a Bamford shot that Bazunu wouldn't. He's looking better.
5. Stephens came in and looked good , played like a leader.
6. Downes and Jander put in a shift.
Result. A win. |
