Ryan Allsopp has returned to parent club West Bromwich Albion following the completion of his one-month loan spell at Edgeley Park. The 18-year-old joined the Hatters as back up for number one Matt Glennon as youth team keeper Ian Ormson was suspended for three matches.

Ormson received his marching orders in an FA Youth Cup match against Tranmere Rovers and was suspended for three matches as a result and so manager Paul Simpson brought in the Baggies youngster as cover. Allsopp didn’t feature for the Hatters during his time at Edgeley Park although he did feature on the bench in six matches.

Ormson is likely to retake his place on the County bench this weekend as we take on Northampton Town at Sixfields.
