Planes, Trains and Automobiles

The life of an exiled jack can be a nightmare, it can drive you insane, thinking about everything that you need to do is like trying to keep an account of all stagmaD's contradictions! When the added difficulty of being a season ticket holder is thrown into the equation it becomes a rollercoaster ride, only coming to a stop in May

The start of the season has been a god send for any exiled jack travelling down on a regular basis, because we have been rewarded with fantastic attacking football in a wonderful new stadium, and great support to match! Our attendances have been absolutely incredible, who would of thought we would be getting an average of over 14.500, I certainly didn't, and the long journey I take every week seems to slide by like a snail with a rocket attached to its shell!

All I think about during the week whilst doing my work is Swansea, Swansea and more Swansea; it seems to take over my life and I like it that way! It can get in the way sometimes, especially being my age, I have so many things to do and so many people to see. Shall I stop going all of the time and only go on occasion? I ask myself, but then I know I could never do such a thing and people will just have to wait until I'm back from Swansea!

Next week sees Scunthorpe at the White rock/Liberty stadium, then Saturday we take on Colchester. Now I thought it would be a good idea for me to come down on the Tuesday and stay until Sunday; I get a lovely little break and get to see the Swans in two games, result! Until I realised I cannot get to the Scunthorpe game, shock horror! For once I will not be there with my special exile flag and my smug looking (I'm a real fan) face. Now that I've got over it, I can laugh about it insert Kevin like 'its not fair' smiley here .

Lets move on, the in-between bit that I call 'the gap' i.e. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I will mostly be extremely bored and anxious to get to Swansea, then and only then will I be at ease. I will be in college, going to football practice and watching my local team. To add insult to injury football training is on a Tuesday night so I cant listen on pal talk Insert another of the same smiley here . Even with me not there I think we will win on Tuesday, so don't worry, there is no curse!

You may or may not have read this thinking ''What's this idiot writing a load of drivel for'' , well, there's a simple and logical answer for that, I'm filling the gap between now and Swansea time, simple really!

I hope this has answered your question of ''who is an exiled jack?'' and ''what are they like?'' You now know we are all living the same lives as you apart from having to travel bloody far! Lets all be a bit more upbeat, no more of this moaning that is all too present on this message board, because at least your not an exiled jack!
