Reported Swansea target Stephen Quinn looks set to stay at Sheffield United

Quinn has been a target for Swansea City who were hoping to snap up the midfielder after he previously spoke out on his interest in joining the Swans.

However, he now looks set to sign a new contract at Bramall Lane and said “Talks are going OK at the moment and the club have offered me a new contract.

“So I’m going to sit down with my family and agent and discuss it with them before coming to a decision. I’d like to stay at Sheffield United because all my family are here and I’ve been at the club for seven years now.

“I’ve had some good times here and I want to bring the good times back to this club because the fans deserve to be watching Premier football.

“I’ve got another year left, but I’d like to get things sorted as soon as possible so that I can focus on football. “
