Stephen Dobbie fired the only goal of the game to lift the Swans back into 2nd place in the Championship Table

SUPER-SUB Stephen Dobbie fired Swansea a step closer to the Premier League with a late winner.

 

Dobbie had only been on the pitch for four minutes when he hooked home from 14 yards.

 

And his 76th-minute goal sent Swansea into an automatic promotion spot.

 

But Coventry City were left fuming at a controversial penalty decision.

 

Aidy Boothroyd’s men were more than holding their own when Lukas Jutkiewicz went up for a ball in the area in the 47th minute.

 

Keeper Dorus De Vries appeared to grab his shirt and haul him down but referee Keith Stroud waved away the claims.

 

De Vries was in the thick of the action and just a few minutes later denied Marlon King with a fine save from a free-kick.

 

Swansea passed the ball really well and carved out early chances through Craig Beattie and Scott Sinclair.

 

Icelandic international Aron Gunnarsson forced De Vries into a fine save before Richard Wood’s header was tipped over by
