Standard Seats Sell Out For Liverpool

Liverpools first visit to St Mary's in over 8 years has already sold out unles you fancy a day in corporate.

Saints are looking forward to their third sell out in a row as its been announced that tickets in the normal seated areas have now sold out completely after only three days on sale, although there are still tickets available in the corporate areas.

Liverpool last visit to t Mary's came in January 2005 when 32,017 saw goals from David Prutton and Peter Crouch give us a 2-0 win and the hope, false as it turned out that Harry Redknapp might be the new messiah.

Whether that crowd will be beaten next month will depend on the corporate turn out for this game, there were spare seats for the Man City game meaning that the 31,738 present was well short of the capacity by about 600 seats all in corporate, the QPR sell out fixture looks set to follow a similar pattern, as did other sell out fixtures this season like Man Utd and Arsenal, both of which were around the same 31,700 figure, perhaps Liverpool will prove a bigger draw in corporate circles and our attendances will once again push over the 32,000 barrier with corporate clients showing the same enthusiasm as those in the cheaper seats.
