Sneak preview of Huddersfield programme

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Tuesday’s League One game against Huddersfield Town.

The programme has been increased to 76 pages this season, but with the same number of advert pages as last year, meaning there is even more to keep you entertained before, during and after the match.

We start with a front cover image of on-loan goalkeeper Josh Lillis, who has made such a big impression since arriving from Scunthorpe in the summer.

As usual, there are the serious and not-so-serious articles, together with the usual high quality pictures from the Port Vale and Southampton games by photographer Daniel Youngs and also with the assistance of Rochdale Online.

Keith Hill gives his thoughts on Saturday’s game against Plymouth, while we have an exclusive interview with left-back Alan Goodall, who is in his second spell with the club.

A new style Dale Quiz has been compiled to test the grey matter, while Scrutator is back with a look at a team of ex-Dale players still plying their trade in the professional game.

Traveller’s Tales reports on the trip to Brentford, while there are in-depth previews of forthcoming home and away fixtures.

Of course, there are many new features, including The Day I Was Born, where we look back at what was happening when Dale forward Jan-Louis Akpa Akpro came into the world.

Visitors Huddersfield get nine pages of coverage, with My First Time reflecting on a visit to Leeds Road.

All this and much, much more will be in Tuesday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
