West Ham United are keen on signing midfielder Gareth Barry who has just been released by Manchester City.
Barry has been on loan all season at Everton and featured heavily making 37 appearances for the club and scored three times. The 33 year old was signed back in the summer of 2009 for £12 million from Aston Villa and went on to make over 150 appearances for the club.
Everton are keen on bring the England man to Goodison Park permanently but face competition from other parties including West Ham United. Arsenal and newly promoted Leicester City are also said to be keen on the midfielder.
