Am not saying that they would have got us promoted but in hindsight the way the club treated Evatt, Taylor-Fletcher, Gilks, Cathcart. Eardley etc etc was appalling. Those five alone would have walked in to our side last season and therein lies the truth. No players with any sort of loyalty and that's what we now need. | | | |

Add to that the number of ex-Seasiders plying their trade at Sheff. Utd (playoffs) and Shrewsbury (promoted).
There is no excuse and, whilst I agree with the sentiment that any of our former players contribute to another nobber failure (cheers Foxy and even Jacob Murphy, by the way), its just another example of our downfall being engineered. | | | |
