After much soul searching and consulting the Dice, I have decided to exercise my right to vote. Alas............the thought of any of them being elected fills me with as much dread as the nightmares I used to have as a child.........the one where I am encouraged to take shelter under the skirts of the old woman bird seed seller in Mary Poppins.
Eyes down.....here we go. Two votes for the post of Mayor of London. 1: Women's Equality Party 2: One Love Party
London Assembly Member. 1: Reclaim the City
London-Wide Assembly Member. 1: Animal Welfare Party
'Ave some of that Zac and Sadiq......how do you like them potatoes?
What's going on?
We should be told.
Sort it out.

That video was pretty terrifying, it looks like Cameron and Boris have just picked a forcing someone from the year below in Eton to do it for a bit of a laugh. Goldsmith is just so wet and pathetic.

It's a single transferable vote, so there's no point putting one of the favourites first - your second choice will never be used.
I'm voting George Galloway first (because he's the only candidate who talks about social housing - and I like him), and Khan second (because I want him to win).

Nutter from Ealingski.... Built a big fook off palace facade in front of his house up Hanger Hill
Odd how the so called minority's are now viewed as makers or breakers. Labour panders to the Muslims, Torys wearing Sikh headgear, Poles setting up their own party to encourage Poles to go to the poles and elect a Pole. Politics in the UK. I sh1t it.
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

In America they call it "T shirt cannon politics."
Apparently at NFL games, part of the half time entertainment involves firing T shirts out into the crowd. Politically, the way that translates is that now rather than trying to win votes on the basis of improving the country or city as a whole, you just pick out certain groups, focus your policies on keeping them happy, and let the electoral maths do the rest.
Osborne is reputedly a master of it, which is why so much Tory policy is in place for the benefit of pensioners and homeowners.

Technically yes but in reality no as their candidate nor prince dooda haven't a hope in hell. The other votes are more important as I think Khan will win sadly. *f'kin hate typing on a phone

Being as its a Hot day this Jewish poster will be slipping on his lightweight Berghoff retreat cool summer fabrics , whistling 'Tomorrow belongs to me', on my way to the Voting Booth Joy division.
I Had hoped to pledge my thousand year loyalty to the labour party by casting my cross against a labour candidate, if indeed there are any left standing by the time i get there at 1pm .
The Corbyns anti semite spear of destiny has been busy of late that i actually gave making a note of who was being suspended by yesterday lunch time. So its a vote for Mr Bum Wipe of the Clagon Party i.e Goldsmith as voting for Ukip in london is as futile as the weekly FGM and cara Delevingie Articles in the evening standard
"...The monkey is never dead, Dealer. The monkey never dies. When you kick him off, he just hides in a corner, waiting his turn."

they count up all the first votes only. if there's a majority winner then they get it, jobs a good-un.
If there isn't, the top two go forward, and everyone whose second vote was for those two people specifically are added, and then whoever has the most wins.
the caveat, is that for your second vote to count, your first vote cannot have been for one of the top two - so if you vote for Khan first, Goldsmith second, when the two of them are inevitably the top two, your second vote is invalid and not counted, but if you voted for that random prince first, and Goldsmith second, it would be.
