Yeh in hindsight wish they'd got off the Fulham game and onto Birch's stories sooner because that was hilarious, the stuff about Holloway at half time at Stoke had me creased up. Hopefully they get him back on for - Oldham semi-final, John Gregory bombing him out, Paladini etc.
On the way back to the halfway line after taking the lead in that Stoke game, Akinbiyi comes up and says "if you win this, I'll fcking kill you" and Bircham replies "pretty fair chance of that now with you up front because you ain't gonna score are ya?"

Congrats to the lads on doing the wise thing and staying schtum while Bircham was on a roll. The podcast is at its best when people are allowed to talk and it really can be great. When everybody's yapping over everybody else I usually switch off early and disappointed. This episode was really excellent. | |
