Cousins to Sjoke 19:13 - Jun 25 with 3767 viewsLblock

Not mine.... in fact none of my relatives

Really surprised by this, thought he’d waltz back to Charlton but suppose the chaos there meant nothing on the table.
Hope he continues his form, keeps the physio busy and has two absolute stinkers against us.

I wish Sjoke the worst of luck

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Nailed on to score against us on opening day....unless he’s injured

Bit odd the club have not announced this, but it’s all over the Stoke papers.

Ah! That makes sense.

Still think if he gets a reasonable run of games he’ll be decent. Showed glimpses against Leeds in the cup. We played him wide, dropped him, then he had a few minor injuries followed by a major one. Not really played consistently for three years so was always going to struggle for form.

I see they've also signed Lee Gregory. Very stoke type player in the Pulis years

That twenty minutes against Leeds reserves has bought him so much good will. He was abysmal overall.

Simply not a footballer.

Read that Nathan Jones was youth team coach at Charlton when Cousins was coming through and was touting him as a future England player.

He had several good games. Disappointing overall but we've had far worse.

Indeed we have.

C'mon guys, you're not playing the game. We need hyperbole. I personally am very much looking forward to the first of this season's several 'worst performance I have ever seen from a QPR side' declarations.

He never looked like he had enough composure on the ball to convince me, but he was about as badly managed and unfortunate as it gets so i really don't think we can judge him too much.

I think it's safe to say that barring something like a fatal accident, his time with Rangers could not possibly have gone worse for him or us. Can't believe how little we've got out of players like Steven Caulker and Jordan Cousins. We have a real knack for killing decent prospects. Any other team would have got more out of him i'm sure. He always struck me as the best athlete at the club.

Im assuming your referencing last seasons fans reactions after QPR worst start to a season ever.?

Blaming QPR for extinguishing Steven Caulker's career prospects. Dear me someone call the Cones Hotline.

I honestly believe Cousins if he is fit week in week out will shine at Stoke, didnt happen for him at us as it rarely does for anyone as we seem to not be able to get the best out of players however he showed glimpses of being a top player this level

I think it would be silly to only judge him on his time at QPR where he had quite a few injuries and was playing in a poor side where very few people shine. At Charlton he was brilliant

Wasn't all that though was he, they were relegated.

Good luck to him. He was immense against Watford and played in too many different positions by managers who did not know where to play him.

peter crouch played for us for a whole season and we were relegated.

Bare bones.

But he did manage to sell out The O2 a few days ago.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

This.

Another player who’s career will improve post QPR.

Couldn't trap a bag of cement and was careless in possession. Never ever a centre-mid. He might have made a half decent RB if he's stayed in that position.

If it's true we paid over £1million for him, then that is shocking.

Was doomed from the moment I said he was potentially the best pound for pound signing in the Championship that summer.

Will now go on to captain England to World Cup glory in 2022.
