My impression was that he was so busy with his stupid antics that he got caught out by Dack's quick taking of the kick and therefore had not set himself.

He did the same against Portsmouth. Absolutely ridiculous. Dack's penalty wasn't anywhere near the corner and had he stood still I reckon he would have had a 50% chance of saving it. The other 50% would have been diving the wrong way.

Agreed ,they seem to either dive the wrong way or just sit down its very frustrating.Saving a PK is almost as big a shot of adrenalin for your players and fans as scoring a goal IMO.
What happened to the old adage of reading the shooters eyes or studying film of perspective PK takers the week before.Every team is scouted and have only 2 or 3 regular penalty takers it should be easier to get a good idea of their tendencies .
As for Kelly he is picking the ball out of his own net at the same rate as big Joe was but seems to have avoided the big cock up so far but who knows if he is the answer yet
