Is it me or does Peter Hucker have a touch of the Beckhams about him?

Thanks Hayes......I found it a fantastic viewing - really enjoyed listening to Wale, the players and about Jim Gregory. Excellent times.

How things have changed.....I wish we still had that sort of coverage on TV instead of seeing little two line articles in the paper!!

back in the days when top flight players didn't earn much... Looks like Stainrod drove a Renault Fuego and if I'm not mistaken Hucker was driving a mini???

Fast forward 30 years and bang average players like Agyemang were rolling up in Bentleys.

Thanks for that Hayes, very enjoyable. Hard to believe that managerial appointments at QPR once made headline news. We'll never know of course how Revie would've fared but rather telling that the meeting between Gregory and Revie lasted a mere 5 minutes. No chance of anyone interviewing Gregory, a la Mark Hughes.

If anyone is wondering here are the scores of the upcoming games Michael Wale mentioned;

H Everton FC 0:0
A Manchester United 0:3
H Liverpool FC 0:2
H Chelsea FC 2:2

Next game was another 2-0 win against Stoke at their place.
