We're signing a Danish forward called Marco Ramkilde according to Dave Mac on WLS.

No idea whether he's any good but the name seems to ring a bell.

Well hopefully they've seen enough of him on trial that makes them think there's something to work on in the U23s. maybe out on loan next year if they can work with him over the summer, and then be a 30 goal striker in 2022/3 :).

Sounds like one of those bands Metallica_Hoop likes.

Their early stuff was good but the latest album is pretty uninspired.

The Difficult Second Album Syndrome.

Did for The Goombay Dance Band as well.

A free agent is going to be the only real way we get cover for Hugill, through to the end of the season (notwithstanding Oteh seems to be in a good run of form)

Depending on how he shapes up Ramkilde, on an incentive based short term contract might be able to do the job.

I'm reserving judgement until Bosh declares him the new Clive Allen.

Lord I hope so. I'm sick of us signing the new George Kulcsar, Adam Bolder and Zesh Rehman.

Injured? Poor agent choices? Trialled for clubs that didnt necessarily suit him? Maybe just the timing of the end of the scandinavian season and our own. Could be anything really. but given he is quite young and going into the development squad I dont see it being a concern. Aalborg are a pretty good SuperLiga team, so he should have had some good coaching until this point, so just depends how he adapts to the requirements of a faster and more physical game.

Never knowingly understood

On the basis of this I'm getting in ahead of Bosh and declaring him the Danish Eze

I think it says we're taking a tiny punt on somebody who was a promising teenager but has had a bad injury and been out long term.

Ramkilde on 17:03 - Mar 12 with 3651 viewsdistortR

the development team that have given us Eze, BOS, Chair etc have worked with him and want to give him a go - good enough for me.

Has he had a injury or just giving an example?

On paper looks a good prospect.

Chalk it.

Also, the fact that we've said explicitly that he's initially joining the development squad is good expectation management.

I thought Adam Boulder was a good signing. Certainly gave us a bit more in the centre midfield to get out of the relegation mire. Him and Danny Cullip worked wonders.

"expectation management"? I think that went the way of the dodo when Twitter was invented
