Blackpool star included in FourFourTwo’s list of the 50 best players in the EF 12:06 - Apr 3 with 47 viewsBringBackTheRedRoom

Blackpool striker Armand Gnanduillet has been included in FourFourTwo magazine’s list of the 50 best players in the EFL.

FourFourTwo magazine's annual rankings, included in the latest issue, are based on supporter feedback.

The 28-year-old ranks at number 35 following his best campaign to date, leading Blackpool’s scoring charts with 18 goals in all competitions.

The Frenchman, who the Seasiders are at risk of losing for nothing at the end of the season, is the joint-second highest goalscorer in League One.

“Gnanduillet is enjoying by far his best-ever goalscoring season,” FourFourTwo wrote.

“Where once he was inconsistent, if sometimes unplayable, he is now a constant all-round goal threat.

“The striker’s 6ft 4ins frame makes him a perfect targetman for Blackpool - around half of his goals come from his head - but his pace in behind means that he’s also very tough to shackle.”

Peterborough United's Ivan Toney was the top player in the division at number 14, while Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic was ranked at number one.

Fleetwood Town frontman Paddy Madden came in at number 42.

“In May, Madden was given a new deal,” FourFourTwo said.

“On Boxing Day, he scored his 13th league goal of the 2019/20 campaign and 17th in all competitions - one every 93 minutes.

“Fleetwood are gatecrashing the promotion party with League One’s finest penalty-box poacher, 14 of those 17 goals were one-touch, and most from within six yards.”

I don't rate him.

Who could have predicted this situation but we should have sold him in January.
