Young spud`s lot are in for their second pre-season training session this weekend in groups of six, but with obviously no start date in sight. They have already made three signings of `named`players who are likely to be on contract (which is a big commitment), and it is my understanding that the Northern Premier League will not commence without spectators present.
To the bigger clubs (that get 1500 - 2500 or so) this may present more of a problem than to the others who get less than 500 to most matches, and could easily socially distance.
Further down the non-league pyramid, I don`t believe they are even doing a pre-season yet... | | | |
