I'm helping out a friend who's managing a Gaelic Football team at the moment, just doing some coaching sessions. They got hammered last week. They were missing a few players but tactics, concentration, execution and work-rate were all somewhat off. Yesterday they played again, missing players again but played with intensity and belief, organised themselves and were rewarded with a really fine display and a win.

I don't believe in omens, but maybe now's the time to start?

I'm a season ticket holder and will always watch Rangers on TV if not there. But I turned off the game on Sat at Half time, couldn't bother to watch if the players weren't trying.
Considering doing the same for this - why waste my time if they can't be bothered.
Probably cave and put it on only to be majorly disappointed again. I've got a tenner on Luton already.

We need to *shake* things up a bit and maybe go for the playoffs again.

So.

My team for tomorrow night would be the following.

In goal an orangutan.
A highly trained defensive unit of four maybe five Chimpanzees.
A midfield of three maybe four Gibbons.
I would definitely go with two upfront so that would be one Millipede and one Baboon.

My substitutions as ever would be a herd of Zebras with a few wildebeests milling about on the touchline in their tracksuits making that strange wildebeest noise that only wildebeest make.
