Why would he want to come here? He's just spent 8 years bringing Wycombe to this level. Why should he leave them now?

We have a really good manager. If we can find a way to defend next season and the right players to replace the one's we've lost then we have a manager that likes to attack and score goals. We aren't going up any time soon but we do have a chance to be top 10 and also entertain the fans. Warburton is building but as you've just said, Ainsworth has taken 8 years to some how get his team up. Warburton needs 4-5 here to get things properly stable after the last X years of mayhem.

Never knowingly right.

No. What do you think Warburton is doing? And playing much better football. Ainsworth is great and he's done really well but I couldn't watch that every week. Why change for someone with zero experience at this level?

As I mentioned before, Ainsworth finished 15th in his first Wycombe season and 22nd in his second. Given the posts last week about Warburton getting the push, Ainsworth would never get the time to see a job through. Lets at least try and give Warburton that time

We shouldn't even be thinking about a manger until Christmas.

All this talk of getting in Ainsworth is nonsense.

Who would we want to get him in and why would he want to come to us?

No one of any worth is taking the Ainsworth manager piece seriously. For heaven’s sake look who started this thread.

Never knowingly understood

Ainsworth was a good option last summer, not sure changing managers now makes much sense. Warburton has done pretty well overall

....and we shouldn't even consider "ansiworth".

I wonder if Clive still has SOG and associate's IP addresses on record.

I would hate Ainsworth to come here because after our first loss it would be "hoofball", "not up to this level" etc

Couldn't bear to see that happen to him

In all that wind, too.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Digswell, you wouldn’t give him time to build, you’d be on here after every defeat demanding he’s sacked. How about letting Warburton continue to build on the most exciting season we’ve had in 9 years.
