Other than the result i pretty much missed a good day, so i've been told. probably the only important qpr game i've missed in the last 50 years. My brother in law(who's fulham by the way, so i blame him) and his missus were taking my daughter to ireland for a weekend break, all planned, and i was the chaufeur to the airport, not the best of timings.
i've only ever seen about 30 seconds of highlights, any of you good people got anything in the way of some serious highlights, or even the full 90 minutes. heard we had almost 3 sides of the ground.
a great day, we took around 12,000 fans that day, never seen anything like it but the game was awful and a real missed opportunity, we barley laid a glove on them after we went 2-1 down

I went to this on one of the supporters club coaches. Game was disappointing and then the journey home took ages after someone threw a brick at one of the side windows. Looked at one point we’d have to wait for another coach to come and get us but the driver just drew the curtains on the shattered window and carried on!

Yes we sold 12000 official before the game but closer to 14000 R's in the ground , seeing as it was at selhurst park with circa 25k capacity i thought no need to buy a ticket as the Dons would only get 9k or so for a league game against us . got to the ground at 1 pm ish to be told no tickets on sale unless your a dons member , still tried to buy & got marched away from the ground by stewards . Approached a home fan who bought us 2 in the upper Homesdale road end when Rangers scored hundreds of us got up , it was the best view of all the Rangers in their hoards on the 3 other sides .

Apologies if I have mentioned this before but I was so incensed with his antics after that goal that I penned a letter to AKUTRs-and they published it!

Hateley and his fúcking ear cupping 'celebrations' that season still irritate me to this day. Has there ever been a worse value for money signing for us than that wánker? A quarter of the Les fee no less.
The deal was down to Super Ray, of course, who hardly covered himself in glory with that 'old mates' little number. We even signed him when he was injured if I recall, so he didn't even play for weeks. Thereafter, 27apps, 3 goals - a strike rate that makes Bobby Zamora (or even Conor Washington) look prolific!
That was also the week when Wanchope had scored seven goals in two reserve games. Remember being in The Falcon in Clapham Junction pre-game with a couple of the guys who used to watch the reserves (up at Northwood at that time I think) were absolutely raving about him said he was unbelievable.

That seems to have been about the same time that Chris Wright decided not to take the land behind the School End for practically nothing. Something that I might have mentioned before once or twice.
What a well run club we were at the time.

3 massive missed opportunities in my time following us. 1 - some v v v affordable options in areas we were weak that could have pushed that 92-95 team even higher, Kasey Keller being the most obvious. Instead we not only sold but were also v shortsighted on things like Wilson’s contract, and wasted the Ferdinand money, just as the TV money got big. 2 - the Chris Wright era like you say. Houston and Harford butchered it. Signing Sheron instead of Wanchope or Mendonca prime example but that team, with Sinclair, Spencer, Quashie, Murray, Dichio, Peacock etc didn’t even make the chuffing play offs. Training ground and Wasps’ Sudbury ground sold and money gone. School End like you say. Could have gone roaring straight back to the money and instead crashed out into admin. 3 - the first 3 years of the Tony Fernandes era. We even got a reprieve after fcking up our first Premier League spell and we just fcked it all over again. Like before it’ll probably take us 15 years to get over it.
