Gone on season long loan to Como.

Don't know much about the football club, but one of the most beautiful places in the world to pass a year.

Good luck to him, I'll try and get reports from my Como based friends.

Amrit played 45 minutes in a pre season friendly for Como earlier in the week. Former R Lewis Walker is also on trial there. Como won the friendly 3.0 and are due to play Turin later this week.
Good luck to Amrit and let's hope the loan is beneficial.

More league 2 than league one. The crowds are tiny and the finances stretched

ive actually seen the outside of the stadium... its right on the lake

its a really dilapidated piece of sh*t, but also very charming in a loftus road kind of a way

i actually thought he was a bit closer to playing for us.... serie C seems a way off the championship... but hope he does well out there

Better than sitting on the bench in Prem.

If at first you dont succeed, pack up and f**k off home.

Good luck Amrit in your season long loan at Pizza Italiano. Make sure to use the socially distancing large pepper grinder.

Never knowingly right.

2 goals for Bansal-McNulty and 1 for Walker in Como friendly vs. Monza U-19s.

https://comofootball.com/category/news/

Como won an official friendly 4-0 against Monza Under 19 Primavera, thanks to a brace from Bansal-McNulty and goals from Walker and Toninelli. Como played an aggressive game and in the first 20 minutes took the lead with Bansal-McNulty with a lob from the corner from the left. Walker doubles with a shot in the box. In the second half, Como still surpasses Monza again with Bansal-McNulty and ends with the head Toninelli.

You'd hope the club parking lot would be full of Riva Aquarama...

I watched the U23s quite a lot last season and thought Bansal-McNulty was a very decent prospect and not too far from the first team squad so surprised we haven't got him a loan at a League Two club: he's similarly in style (and stature) to Chair who did so well at Stevenage.

Dennis Wise is some kind of technical director at Como and seems to be overseeing player recruitment

Interesting. Seems Como were recently bought by a subsidiary of an Indonesian tobacco industry giant (Djarum, "the world's third largest maker of clove cigarettes") who via a British "video production company" are running some sort of training programme for young Indonesian players headed by Wise and Des Walker.
