Yellow Cards 15:25 - Dec 3 with 423 viewsspell_chekker

There were, I think, 3 bookings on Tuesday evening against Portsmouth.

This is where we stand and what will happen:

5 yellows before 19 league matches are played results in a 1 match ban.
10 yellows before 37 league matches are played results in a 2 match ban.
15 yellows before the last day of the normal league playing season (not including play offs) results in a 3 match ban.
20 yellows before the last day of the normal league playing season (not including play offs) - the ban is determined by a panel.

As of today:-

Ekpiteta: 4 yellows
Kaikai: 3 yellows
Turton: 2 yellows
Robson: 2 yellows
Ballard: 1 yellow
Dougall: 1 yellow
Madine: 1 yellow
Yates: 1 yellow
Grétarsson: 1 yellow
Gabriel: 1 yellow
Ward: 1 yellow
Husband: 1 yellow
Maxwell: 1 yellow
Lubala: 1 yellow

We've played 14 matches and so, to get past the first hurdle, the 2 players most at risk - Ekpiteta and Kaikai - have to get through the next 5 matches. Ekpiteta without getting another yellow, whereas Kaikai has a bit of wiggle room and can afford 1 more.

Unless a match is either postponed or abandoned, Sunderland away on 22nd December will be our 19th league match.

Learning to read clusters is not something your eyes do naturally. It takes constant practice.

15 yellows before the last day of the normal league playing season (not including play offs) results in a 3 match ban.
20 yellows before the last day of the normal league playing season (not including play offs) - the ban is determined by a panel.

As of today:-

Hmmm, this is getting confusing. I've got conflicting information from different sites. I've amended this list to only include cards shown in league matches ..... I think.
