Madine to come on as sub against Charlton on Saturday.

Hamilton another week more away.

That's how I read the interview.

Moore: Blackpool tough opposition

Darren Moore believes Rovers will have to be at their best to get a result at Blackpool on Tuesday night.

The Seasiders have lost just one of their past six games in Sky Bet League One, and Moore is expecting an entertaining game at Bloomfield Road.

He said: “They got a good result at Portsmouth at the weekend which shows the confidence within the group at present.

"They’ll feel that they are right in the race for a play-off spot and rightly so, it promises to be an exciting game on Tuesday.

“Neil Critchley is guiding his club in the right direction and it’s great to see, he is an example of a young coach being given a chance and making the most of it.”

This latest midweek fixture is Rovers’ third of six on the bounce, and Moore says the busy schedule is another challenge which he feels will improve him as a manager.

He said: “With a normal season you’d probably have had six or seven midweek games whereas we’re already approaching our 12th this time around.

“There is constantly another game on the horizon which means there is a lot more work to do in getting the players ready physically.

“The biggest thing for me is keeping as many players fit as we can and making sure they are moving forward.”

Team News

Blackpool could be unchanged from their outstanding victory over Portsmouth.

Veteran midfielder James Coppinger could be rewarded for his stoppage-time strike against Hull City at the weekend with a rare start in what's his final campaign ever with Doncaster.

Match Facts

Blackpool have kept a clean sheet in 6 of their last 7 home matches (League One).

Blackpool have won 6 of their last 7 home matches (League One).

There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 7 of Blackpool's last 8 home games (League One).

Prediction

While a top-six finish would appear out of Blackpool's reach, the Seasiders are making a good fist of things in recent matches, epitomised by their brilliant 1-0 victory at Portsmouth last weekend. Nine places separate the sides in the League One standings, although a third straight win here will put the home side within six points of Doncaster.

Donny still have top-two aspirations, although they'll need to improve quickly following a four-match winless run. The South Yorkshire outfit managed to salvage a crucial stoppage-time draw against Hull City on Saturday, although with the sides above them winning consistently, Darren Moore's men need turn their form around quickly or the playoffs beckon.

Doncaster Rovers Game Postponed

Match Official Rob Lewis Calls Off Fixture

Blackpool's Sky Bet League One fixture at home to Doncaster Rovers tonight has been postponed.

Heavy downpours in the last couple of hours led to referee Rob Lewis holding a pitch inspection at 6pm and ultimately calling the game off.

The match official explained:

"The rain has come down heavily in the last couple of hours and unfortunately it has taken its toll on the field of play.

"Currently as we stand here at the moment, with the rain coming down, the pitch is unplayable. There is then the risk of more rain coming through for the rest of the evening, looking at the forecasts.

"My primary concern is the safety of the players and there is also a situation where the integrity of the game is affected by the ball not moving in its natural way."

A new date for the game will be announced in due course. All previously purchased iFollow passes will remain valid for the rearranged match.
