|Stewart and Turton To Attend Team Talk Session With Female Fans 15:07 - Feb 22 with 33 views||BringBackTheRedRoom|
Kevin Stewart and Ollie Turton will be participating in a special Team Talk session with female fans on Wednesday evening.
The pair will be live on Zoom from 7.30pm to answer questions about their lives as footballers and converse about mental health and wellbeing.
The event, to be hosted by Blackpool FC Community Trust, follows a similar Team Talk with Chris Maxwell and James Husband last month, which was attended by male supporters who had engaged in specific Trust programmes.
Team Talk sessions informally bring fans together (virtually or in-person where safe to do so) to talk about football – helping them stay connected during what has been a difficult time.
Blackpool FC Community Trust has offered many programmes and initiatives throughout the current pandemic, from doorstep visits (current safety measures in place) to simple welfare phone calls. There are fitness programmes, which include mobility aids and a training plan to do at home, plus a ‘Sporting Memories’ session where a person will receive a special box of memorabilia and action plan to help with mental health and combating loneliness. Most recent guests in attendance were former Seasiders Tony Green and Eamonn O’Keefe.
Female fans who would like to attend the Team Talk session with Kevin and Ollie on Wednesday are asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
