He has also done deep dives of all of the clubs including this one on QPR with Clive as his guest which is worth a watch (it was recorded a couple of weeks ago, so before Willock/Armstrong left and before Celar signed).

Nobody does more research on the Championship than this guy, but yeh he is prone to the odd wild call and if Sunderland win the league I'll present them the trophy myself.

I wouldn't be unhappy with that. I'm as optimistic as the next person but unless we can continue to strengthen the squad significantly, a midtable finish looks about right.

I think 12th would be disappointing: if we finish that low Cifuentes would definitely leave as it would show no progress since his tenure with us last season really and he would have little incentive to stay. Need to be top 10 pushing for playoffs.

Top half should be well achievable from where I am sitting - evens to finish in the top half of the Championship. I plan to have a couple of quid on the R's to finish in the top half.
7/2 to get into the play-offs - not a particularly good bet imho.

I think that's where I am as well, pending some further strengthening up front because exactly like a year ago I don't think this attack takes us very far as it stands - unless Zan is indeed the man.

A couple of years ago he offered to buy a scarf for a lower league supporter as he wanted to promote grassroots and "support your local team". It was on twitter, all you had to do was name your club.
I mentioned could my son win a Gloucester city one instead....
Anyway he picked us to win but for some strange reason Gloucester didn't have any scarves available. So he reached out and offered to buy my lad a Gloucester city hoodie instead, which was greatly accepted by my boy. My lad then asked if he could have a City season ticket too (from me not Gab!!).
