With utmost respect to fans here that have supported the club for more than 50 years, as their fathers and grandfathers do/did before them, I am wondering if anyone know of families who have supported the club since its founding year of 1882 and are still a proud QPR family generations after. Or even better, during the St Jude's and Christchurch Rangers years before the merger, if we could go back that far.
It will be fascinating just knowing the dynastic / generational support that is established by the family since foundation of the club to the present time. | |

My first granddaughter is due in December, and as my daughter has converted her partner into an R, we are confident the new arrival will be a hoop too.
Chatting to my dad (89) recently, he told me that his dad and grandfather were Rangers fans. Dad grew up in Fifth Avenue, a two minute walk from Droop Street. I have been happily thinking that this might take the family support back to when the club was founded but thinking about it now, my great grandfather probably wouldn’t have been born quite early enough to have been a day one supporter. I’ll have to find out when he was born. And check whether there is any evidence of my great great grandparents being fans. Even without them, we are up to five generations, going on six. | | | |

My grandad was born in the 1880... he was never an R... but his brother was.... when my Granddad met my gran here in Kent WW1 ... after the war he came here to the mines after marrying gran
With the depression in the 20 his brother moved down for work.. Titch (his name) continued to go sporadically, money allowing. He never married, but he use to take his nephew, my uncle to games... Phil...who became a life long Rs. He then took my brother in the 50s, Phil never married
Then they took me in the 60s....
Now my brothers sons both go with their lads... and I have taken my grandson now.. so we are also 5 generations
I think Titch first games were Edwardian... not Victorian, but still possibly 110 years of purgatory for us | | | |

My son who is 6 is the 5th unbroken generation of QPR fans and my great grandfather was a caretaker of the White City estate after the war and he was a QPR fan from the avenues, near the ha penny steps on Harrow Road. Not sure of his DOB but reckon that tips us over 100 years. | | | |

My dad was born in 1887. Moved to London in 1903 and first saw the Rangers at park Royal circa 1905, when lodging in Horn lane Acton. My son, grandson and great grandson will all be supporting in the future.

I've always felt that stating 1882 as our start date was massively over-reaching and based on a few ruffians kicking a cabbage about the street. Weird how it was 1885 for virtually 100yrs until in 1981 when "evidence" presumably suppressed in a secret crypt came to light and the club declared our centenary (and associated cash-ins and merch opportunities) would now be in 1982. Ironically, they needn't have bothered cos the FA Cup journey gave us a big commercial boost anyway - wonder if they ever thought dang it, could've left it to 1985 really. | | | |

Great-grandfather born 1893 and was a supporter, attending Wembley in 67 with his son and grandson (my Dad!)
No idea if his Dad was a supporter... apparently they ran a bakers in Harlesden at some point.
I've got my work cut out convincing my 8 year old daughter of the many benefits of supporting QPR, she's in an anti-football phase at the moment, she's more likely to be at the head of four generations of Labubu enthusiasts... [Post edited 23 Sep 21:03]
