| Kolli up front in a two 10:09 - Oct 8 with 13184 views | FDC | Listened to the W12 pod on the way in to work this morning, they mentioned the experiment with Frey and Kone up front against Oxford, and that Kolli might make a better partner for Kone for games where Burrell isn't available. I hadn't thought about this before, but Kolli always struggled as a lone striker, but might be much better suited to working off a target man like Kone. He's dropped off the radar a bit, but by all accounts did well when he came on against Bristol City, and could hopefully benefit from our new system this season as part of a rotation up front. We know he knows where the goal is. | | | | |

| Kolli up front in a two on 10:16 - Oct 8 with 9093 views | BazzaInTheLoft | This may be fake ITK nonsense, but I heard a rumour Kolli was told by a senior staff member that he had no future here? Would love to see it though. Kolli needs minutes and starts. [Post edited 8 Oct 10:16]

| Kolli up front in a two on 10:19 - Oct 8 with 9064 views | QPRSam | Might have agreed until he was trusted to close out the win at Bristol. I think we just have great depth in the squad now. Especially when Chair, JCS and Poku are back, players will miss out. Good problem to have | | | |

| Dont know why we bother. .... but we do! |

| Kolli up front in a two on 10:24 - Oct 8 with 9018 views | BazzaInTheLoft | Has the best goals per minute ratio in the squad I think. Dismiss at your peril. He's been overexposed which I don't think helps. Hopefully has a good week with Algeria and makes his senior debut. | | | |
| Kolli up front in a two on 10:25 - Oct 8 with 9010 views | DannyPaddox | Kolli always struggled as a lone striker because he’s not a lone striker. He only ever played there because the strikers at the time were either unfit or crap. He’s definitely more of an inside-forward. Dare I say it a No.10. | | | |

| Kolli up front in a two on 10:54 - Oct 8 with 8806 views | BazzaInTheLoft | I thought letting Kelman go was a bad decision. | | | |
| Kolli up front in a two on 11:07 - Oct 8 with 8737 views | johncharles | We kinda got Kone and Burrell in exchange for him so that’s okay. Would like to have all three but that would be madness even by our standards 😳 | |
| Strong and stable my arse. |

| Kolli up front in a two on 11:13 - Oct 8 with 8696 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | He really needs to be playing as he could make us some money. I just can't see where fits in this side. Next to Kone? Not ahead of Burrell or Chair. Left Wing? Numerous players in front. | |

| Kolli up front in a two on 11:15 - Oct 8 with 8685 views | Northernr | As cover for Burrell. If, as seems likely to me, Stephan is going to aggressively change the side for games two or three of the three game weeks he'll get starts there. I'd have much preferred he play with Kone against Oxford last week. | | | |
| Kolli up front in a two on 11:29 - Oct 8 with 8579 views | DWQPR | Kolli has certainly bulked up a fair bit during the summer which he needed to do as he was too easily outmuscled last season. I see a very good player in him and someone which if named in the team or coming on as a sub I have no worries about, which is a rarity to say about players who have come through the academy system at Rangers. Nowhere as pacy as Burrell but then again not many footballers are. He has a good footballing brain and who knows he could eventually be the replacement for Kone if we get a great offer for him. | |

| Kolli up front in a two on 11:48 - Oct 8 with 8466 views | numptydumpty | Yes same here. Was massively disappointed when turned up at the Brentford friendly and heard Kelman was on his way. Shows how educated we all are on here !! i like the profile of Kolli and he can play. But he is way down the pecking order. Probably better off with a loan but i get why he is here, with Celar and Lloyd farmed out. Pervesely by being higher up the pecking order than these two, he suffers with much less opportunities to play than them. He does seem just not quite there for me, which is a shame. | Kolli up front in a two on 11:49 - Oct 8 with 8478 views | lassel | Should he be used? Sure, he works hard, can put himself about, knows where the goal is and has a bit of quality about him. Will he though? No, at the risk of being a stuck record, him and his dad are as welcome at the club as a dude in a gimp suit. | | | |
| Kolli up front in a two on 11:50 - Oct 8 with 8465 views | dmm | I'd like to see a Kolli/Kone duo tried out with Kolli playing behind Kone. We've not really seen what Kone can do as an out and out no 9. If successful, it would give us a different attacking strategy. | | | |
| Kolli up front in a two on 12:16 - Oct 8 with 8324 views | connell10 | I think the 2 K,s would be a very good combination. I also think that young Kolli is a very good player. | |

| Kolli up front in a two on 12:16 - Oct 8 with 8330 views | TheChef | Hmmm OK Mr ITK. Seems obvious that Kolli Sr. is fairly vocal about his son; is there an issue with Kolli Jr's attitude too? Clearly not cut out to be a lone striker but I think he's got a great eye for goal, would like to see him in a front two and see how does. | |

| Kolli up front in a two on 12:39 - Oct 8 with 8247 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Without doubt he is a better option than Frey, but, and I've thought this for a while, he doesn't seem to really excel at anything in particular to make him a starter long term. Definitely the odd game when Burrell needs a rest, but is Kolli going to be happy with that? | |

| Kolli up front in a two on 13:03 - Oct 8 with 8107 views | kensalriser | No doubt, just like there was no way we could afford Saito. Someone is definitely campaigning against Kolli though given the amount of shit that's been thrown his way. | |

| Kolli up front in a two on 13:08 - Oct 8 with 8072 views | captainmycaptian | He is.a decent player like his work ethos. Remember this is a long season cold winter away games coming up. Word will be out about burell and his pace. When he gets kicked about kolli is a very decent foil for kone. Give him game time he will score. Might be just wanting the big money deal out of here but so do most. We also may have to sell so he will fill that gap if we sell one or both of our sharp dueo. Also as regards frey on cold winter nights in the rain you need a tank to break down defences. | | | |
| Kolli up front in a two on 13:13 - Oct 8 with 8031 views | BazzaInTheLoft | Well, it might all be tosh, and I don’t want to get Clive’s yacht confiscated so I’d rather not say but this is a Kolli thread I’m sure the it’s probably the people you think it would be bearing in mind the who gets criticism on this forum a lot. | | | |
| Kolli up front in a two on 13:17 - Oct 8 with 7998 views | Northernr | Probably not, I expect him to leave pretty soon in any case, but while he's here that's where I'd use him and I think we'd have had a more positive outcome last Wednesday night if we had. We come straight back from the break into another 3 game week so I'm hoping what I felt was a very decent cameo at Bristol might have pushed him up the pecking order a bit. | | | |
